He sat there like he had no worries in the world. Laughing along to a joke the bartender told him. Girls kept surrounding him, begging for his attention. I didn't realise I was staring until I saw Jessica's fingers snap in front of my eyes to gain my attention. I turned to look at her and saw a mischievous glint in her eyes. Uh, God! She must have thought I was staring at him. Explaining our history to her would be a pain. 'So' she started with an elongated tone. 'Isn't he hot? Like, amazing. You could get him girllll. You're a total of ten. I could go talk to him for you.' I rolled my eyes, ' dude, I hate him. Just forget it. Let's go grab some drinks!'
*A few drinks later*
My head throbbed, I felt dizzy and couldn't see anything. I must've drunk too much. In the middle of all the haziness, I spotted Chris stealing glances at me.  Seeing him made my blood boil. God, I wish I could slap him. So I did.
Maybe it was the alcohol, maybe it was by impulse, but I marched right over to his table and hit him hard across his face. The sting in my hand burning implies how hard I hit him. He turned his face to look at me, eyes looking dark as if they were ready for murder. Maybe I imagined it, but his eyes turned human again when he realised it was me. I expected him to scream at me, or at least walk away. But NO! That jerk just smiled at me. Ugh, I hated him so bad but once the realisation dawned on me of what I had done, I couldn't move.
One of the girls around him came and was about to slap me, making me flinch, but her hand was held by another much stronger force. The voice from the one holding her hand said, 'It's okay Karina, I wanted to talk to her anyway.' Talk to me? Wait for what?? I did not want to talk to anyone but I didn't have it in me to refuse him after slapping him so hard, which is hilarious by the way. I would've laughed but drunk me was a little shocked.
