Just a standard procedure

So I do have to make it known that this story is in an Omega verse.

If you are familiar with that term and are uncomfortable with this subject then this isn't going to be a story for you. If you are a newcomer to this subject, then I pray you don't fall too deep into the rabbit whole that is A/B/O dynamics.

In the simplest way that I can put this, it's like werewolves in a sense of the word. Some people are more in depth with the omega verse than I am so they use more terms than what I do. i am simply just giving you my explanation to it.

A/B/O translates to Alpha, beta and Omega.

Alphas are the most dominant of the 3, they are more aggressive in nature and depending on what stories you read they are at the top of the hierarchy.

Betas are considerably very neutral creatures, they aren't as aggressive as Alphas, but also not as submissive as Omegas. In most cases they are like peacekeepers, but as stated before it just depends on the story.

Omegas are stereotypically the most submissive of them all. They are considered fragile creatures and are at the bottom of the hierarchy (just depends what you read.)

Now here comes the complicated part of my explanation.

There are six categories of sexes (a second gender is what i've heard some people call it) a character can fall into.

Alpha female- those who identify as female, but present as an alpha

Alpha male- those who identify as male, and present as an Alpha

Beta Female- those who identify as female, and present as beta

Beta Male- those identified as male, and present beta

Omega female- those who identify as female and present as omega

Omega Male- those who identify as male and present as omega

Alpha females and Omega males take a bit more time to explain so i'll start with the others.

Obviously those that identify as male possibly have a Male anatomy. If you don't know what Male anatomy is I will not be explaining that and you are possibly too young to be reading this. I get uncomfortable on occasion with addressed with the aspect of sex (whether that be writing about it or talking about it.) So I'm trying to keep it to a bare minimum.

What I mean by presentation is that at a particular age a person will(..for a lack of a better word because it's kinda late) receive their second sex. It could match up with the one they identify with, it also might not.

So for example, peeps that identify as Male, possible male anatomy, possibly not (depending if they were Non-binary, or assigned female at birth). If they were to Identify as An alpha, they would have the Anatomy of an Alpha( be it the male anatomy). For Beta Males, they keep the anatomy that they are born with with no change.

It would be the same for Omega and Beta females. They would have little to no change in their anatomy.

Here's where it gets tricky.

Alpha Females and Omega Males at first can have the anatomy that they are born with but when they present it will most likely change, be it if it was just for the duration of their heat/rut or completely after they first present.

For Alpha females depending on whose story you read they can only have their Appendage while they are in their ruts (or near an omega in heat.) Or they keep it all of the time. The way that works is basically the appendage grows from the area between their legs. (that's as vague as I can put it, without going into detail.)

For Omega males it is just as complex if not more so. Granted I haven't read that many stories with omega Males when they go into heat but from what little I know, (which isn't much) it should be similar to how Omega Females go into heat.

All I can say about Heats and ruts is that experience heats and ruts from the age of presentation until they reach an age where they can no longer have children.

If you have any questions about anything that has been said so far my best advice to give you is to just search it up yourself to see if you can get a better understanding.

I'm going to post a description of everyone who is going to be part of this story, Encanto Characters, as well as my OC included and what they are before I start the story so there isn't any confusion.
