Change My Mind - Ch. 5

*Kristen's P.O.V.* :)

"Um, i'm gonna wear that ruffly flower top, skinny jeans, and some flats. I'm just gonna twist my hair to the side. Probrably no makeup except for some mascara and lipgloss.", I say to Aniya. We're getting ready to go to the game. Since it's just a basketball game we're dressed pretty causal. Aniya's dressed about as casual as she can get. She's wearing a high waisted skirt, shiny balck top, and some black heels. Her hair's in a fish tail braid. I run upstairs to my room and get ready. I look pretty good. I text Niall.

To: Niall <3

Hay. When are you gonna be here??? I'm soooo excited! :)

From: Niall <3

I'm walking up the driveway now. :)

I open the door and run outside into his arms. "Hi love. Did you miss me?", he asks smiling down at me. "Yeah kinda.", I say back grabbing his hand. We walk inside. Aniya and Toby are waiting inside. We do the whole awkward intoduction thing and then head off to the game. It's about an hour drive. Me and Niall are sitting in the backseat. He's sitting beside the window and i'm in the middle so that I can be close to him. I look down and watch as he traces patterns and shapes onto my palm with his pointer finger. I can't believe i've gotten this close to him this fast. I just love his smile, his laugh, his sense of humour, his heart, his personality, his eyes. I just love.... him. Oh my gosh did I just say i love him? I did. It feels good to admit that for once. Maybe i'll tell him tonight after I tell him that I wanna tell our friends about us. I can't beleive i'm in love with Niall James Horan. I feel complete.

*Niall's P.O.V.* :)

The basketball game was great! Also Aniya and Toby are really cool and nice. I hope they like me too. Kristen looks amazing as usual. She never like really dresses up. I like that becuase it shows that she's laid back like me. Plus she doesn't need a bunch of fancy clothes to make her look beautifu. We're on our way to the restaurant. I lean in next to Kristen's ear an say, "You look so beautiful." She blushes. "Yeah right. I look boring standing next to you.", she says with a wink. I look down and look at myself. I'm wearing khaki chinos, a light blue button down with a sweater on top, and some white converses. "Sure. Whatever.", I say smiling then kissing her temple. 

We're sitting down at the table and our food just came. I grab a fork and start eating with perfect manners. I notice Kristen staring so I look over. "What's your problem?", she aks. "What do you mean?", I ask back. "Well, um i've never seen you eat like that before. You're acting so, well, fancy. I don't like it. Just be yourself.", she says smiling. "Um, ok.", I say. I pick up the fork and don't hold back. I start scarffing down the food like there's no tomorrow. Aniya and Toby don't seem to mind. It feels good that they like me for me. After we're done with dinner we walk outside into the parking lot.  "Nialll can you drive?", Toby asks me. "Um, yeah.", I say back. I passd my driving test a few weeks ago. "Good. Me and Toby are going to an after party and our friends house. You two take the car back to the house. We'll take a taxi there and then home in the morning.", Aniya says handing me the keys. "Ok. love you guys.", Kristen says before pulling me away to the car. 

We're about halfway home. The radio is blasting and Kristen has her feet proped up on the dashboard. She changes the radio station. It lands on a counrty station and she starts to sing along to Beat This Summer by Brad Paisley. I can't help but laugh at her. She's so amazing that i'm positive I don't deserve her. She hates it when I say that but it's true. I've been thinking of asking her to be my girlfriend but i'm scared she'll say no. It's only been a little since the whole Tyson thing. I'll talk to her later.

*Kristen's P.O.V.* :)

We got home a few minutes ago and we're sitting on the couch in the living room. "So um I was just wondering like when we were going to tell everyone about us.", I say looking into Niall's eyes. "Well I think we should know what we are first. Don't you?", he says back. "Yeah.", I let out a sigh. I really wanna be Niall's girlfriend but then he'll wanna know everything about me and I can't tell him everything about me. I guess we'll just have to wait a little longer. I want to tell Niall about my problems but i'm scared he's gonna want to be around me anymore. That's exactly why I didn't tell Tyson everything because it's kind of intense. I trust Niall but, ugh i don't know. After a few minutes of silence Niall speaks. "Wanna play 20 questions?", he asks smiling really big. "Sure but can it just be however many questions we want? I always run out of questions.", I ask. "Sure", he replies. 

After a long game of kind of 20 questions I get a call. It's my friend Laney. I mean she's one of my bestfriends but she moved away a year ago so we're not as close. I tell Niall to give me a minute and answer the phone. Our conversation went like this: *Author's Note* + will be Kristen and - will be Laney :)

- Heyyyy Kristen!

+ Hey Laney!

- I have amazing news.

+ Okay?

- My mom got a transfer back to the hospital in town. So i'm moving back!

+ Oh my god! That's amazing. I can't wait to see you. 

- I know! and yeah we'll be back tomorrow.

+ Don't you have to pack your house?

- Already done. I've known for a few weeks but I wasn't sure how you would take it since ypu've gotten closer with Hannah and Katie.

+ Don't be crazy. You still have a place in my heart. We haven't been bestfriends since 5th grade for nothing.

- Great! Well i'll see you tomorrow then.

+ How about you come over after you're done with your boxes and stuff tomorrow?

- Omg that will be awesome! love you bye.

+ Love you too. Bye.

I hang up the phone and can't stop smiling like an idiot. "Who was that?", Niall asks looking confused. "My friend Laney. She's the fourth person to me, Hannah, and Katie's bestfriend group thing. She's finally moving back. Ugh! i've missed her so much that it hurts.", I say. "Can't wait to meet her. She sounds great.", he says back. After that we cuddle on the couch and fall asleep.

*Laney's P.O.V.* :) These won't happen often but I felt like it 

Oh my gosh. I can't believe i'm finally moving back. I've missed Kristen, Hannah, and Katie so much. Sure i've made friends here but nothing compared to them. Another bonus is that nobody moved into my old house while we were gone so i'll be in the same house. Right next to Kristen's! Happiness is running through me to every part of my body. Suddenly I remember something that I was told by all three of my friends. They all mentioned something about One Direction being friends   with them and how they were there for the summer. I don't really listen to there music much but they  seem cool, and theyre totally hot! My room is fully packed so it feels empty. I start to think of the memories I have with the girls and how i'll have new ones now. I lay down on my bed since we won't put it in the truck until the morning and fall asleep.
