Chapter 9 (Clueless)

"How could you do this to me?"

I was so pissed off

"I'm actually doing you a favor. Step out from the boring life and face the real world, Jo."

I rushed towards the bedroom and locked the door

I sat on the bed

Oh my god

I sighed

I took out my new Iphone from under the pillow and checked for messages

There were three

From an unknown number

Which I was pretty damn sure was Kent.

Message one:

Hey Joanna. It's Kent. Your friend, Crystal gave me your phone number :)

Message two:

It was great seeing you. I'd love to see you again if you don't mind. :) <3

Message three:

I'm on my way :)

I didn't know how I should react.

I wasn't ready for love.

Yeah this guy is pretty cute but I'm not ready to start a relationship.

For God's sake, Crystal.

I feel like strangling you right now.

Suddenly Crystal knocked on the door

I rolled my eyes

"Jo, he's here."

I clenched both of my fists

"I don't want to see him."

"What!?"

"You invited him here, you go talk to him. I'm trying to sleep here and you are disturbing me."

"That's bullshit, Jo."

I heard her left.

A smile suddenly formed on my lips

Yes!

I laid on the bed and closed my eyes.

Cherishing the moment.

Suddenly

I felt someone grabbing my legs

Crystal

She pulled me out of bed

I fell on my butt

"Ouch! How did you get in here?!"

She showed me the keys

"You forgot about this?"

Shitttt

I rubbed my butt, trying to hold the big lump on my throat

I wanted to cry

"Why are you forcing me?"

Tears rolled down my cheeks

"Who do you think you are? You don't control my life"

I was sobbing

"I hate you!"

I stood up and walked away past her

Crystal looked worried.

"Hey! Wait..."

She followed me and gripped my hand

I shook them away aggressively

"Don't touch me. Stay the fuck away from me. You're not my mother."

She was stunned

I grabbed my car key and stormed outside

I saw Kent waiting outside the lawn

He looked worried

"Joanna? You okay?"

I rolled my eyes at him.

"Just, go home."

I started the engine and drove as fast as I could.

As I drove,

I realised I was being followed.

Kent

I shrieked

"What's his problem!!??"

I stopped by the side of the road and stormed outside the car

I'm going to beat the shit out of you

I saw him getting out of his car

Approaching me.

I rolled my sleeves up

Ready to hit him

As we neared, I tried throwing a punch on his chest

But he immediately caught my hand and pulled me towards him

He held me tight

I tried so hard to break free from him

But he was just too strong

Is he Superman or something?

"Let go of me!"

"Make me"

He smiled

He neared his face to me and pressed his lips against mine

I felt the electricity flowing in me

He bit my bottom lip

Wow

Haven't felt like this since forever

I tried to push him away

But the more I pushed, the more he pulled me towards him

I hated myself for enjoying that

He pulled his face away

That's it?

I was disappointed.

He looked at me in the eyes

Breathing heavily

I bit my lip

Vaguely awestricken

He smiled and kissed me again

I smiled too

It was crazy

I felt the butterflies on my stomach

I wouldn't have felt those if I didn't like Kent

I didn't think I liked him

I had no idea I was attracted to this guy

Until he pressed his lips against mine

I was completely Clueless.
