Jack walks up to the round pin where Ty, Amy, and Lyndy were.
Ty and Lyndy were sitting on the gate while Amy was leading Spartan around the round pin.
" Hey guys, Lisa is almost finished cooking the roast. So supper will be ready in about 10 minutes." -Jack said to them walking to the round pin
Ty and Lyndy hop off of the gate and started to walk around to open the gate for Amy.
Ty grabbed his side as he winced in pain
" Ty? Are you ok?" -Amy said as she walked out of the round pin
" Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little sore. That's all." -Ty
" Hey Ty? Will you please put Spartan up?" -Amy
" Yeah, I'm on it." -Ty said holding Spartan's lead rope
Amy and Lyndy started walking back to the Ranch House.
" I'm going to help Ty put Spartan up." -Jack said to Amy
Lyndy started to run back to the Ranch house.
Ty started to walk slowly and Jack just looked at him. Ty dropped the lead rope and collapsed onto the ground.
" Ty!" -Jack called out and ran to him
Amy turned around to see what Jack yelled about but saw Jack running to Ty
" Ty?" -Amy called out and ran to his side
Lyndy had stopped running to the house to see what her mommy was doing.
As soon as Amy and Jack got to Ty's side they called out his name, tried shaking him awake, they tried everything. They checked for a pulse but they couldn't find one. Jack pulled out his phone and called 911.
On the phone**
" Hello? This is 911" - The operator
" Hi, this is Jack Bartlett, I need you to send an ambulance to the Heartland Ranch immediately." -Jack
" Ok, we will have an ambulance there in 5 minutes. Can you tell me what happened sir?" -Operator
" My grandson in-law passed out and he doesn't have a pulse." -Jack
" Ok, the ambulance is now 2 minutes away." Operator
" Thanks" -Jack
Jack hangs the phone up**
" Wha-what did they say?" -Amy
" They will be here in two minutes." -Jack
Amy stayed kneeled down at the ground for what felt like 2 hours.
The Ambulance finally pulled up and immediately rushed to Ty's side.
" Ma'am, sir, I need you two to back up." The paramedic
Jack and Amy backed up and Amy was just crying. She didn't know if her husband was going to live or not.
Amy looked towards the ranch house and saw Lyndy standing right there just looking at the paramedic.
" Grandpa can you take Lyndy inside?" -Amy
Jack just looked at Amy and shook his head yes.
Jack walked over to Lyndy, he picked her up and walked her into the house.
Amy just stood behind the paramedics.
After what felt like days to Amy the paramedic stood up and looked at Amy.
"I'm so sorry ma'am but your husbands gone." -The Paramedic
