Chapter 9

" You're having a boy, Congratulations!" -Dr Alver

Amy just smiled real wide and looked at Lou.
Lou had a big smile on her face.
After around 10-30 minutes later Amy and Lou walked out of the doctors office and got in Lou's truck.

" Lou, am I a horrible person?" -Amy asked as her smile went to a frown

" No, you're not. Why would you think you are?" -Lou asked as she turned the truck on and started driving back home.

" It just feels weird. With Lyndy I talked to him almost everyday but now with this pregnancy he's not here at all. It's hard. We tried to get pregnant after Lyndy's baby naming ceremony but it wasn't successful. But now, why now after he's gone? It doesn't make sense Lou." -Amy said very upset

" Amy there is a reason for everything." - Lou said leaving it at that

The rest of the car ride to the ranch was silent. All you could hear were the other cars around them.

When they got back to the ranch and went inside Tim and Jack were sitting in the kitchen waiting for Amy.

When Amy and Lou walked into the house they saw Tim and Jack sitting at the table.

" I'm going to go check on the girls. " -Lou said putting her purse down and walked to the girls room.

" Amy I'm sorry I overreacted with your pregnancy. I just didn't know what to say, or do, or even think." -Tim

" Dad, that is no reason to yell at me. I understand but still." -Amy

" And Amy, I'm sorry for telling your dad. I should've let you tell your dad. Thats your business not mine." -Jack

" Ok, I accept your apologies. " -Amy said

" So how was your appointment? " -Tim asked

" It was good. I found out the gender. I am having a boy." -Amy said with a smile

" That's amazing honey, congratulations. " -Tim said getting up and giving Amy a hug.

" Have you thought of any names yet? Because I think Tim Jr. would be a good name." -Tim said with a small chuckle.

" Haha dad, I have actually thought of a few. But I just don't know yet. It still feels unreal." -Amy said

A couple of hours go by and Amy is sitting in the kitchen by herself writing down a to-do list on everything she needed to get done before the baby arrived.

Amy got up to get a cup of tea and looked out the kitchen window and saw Katie working with poggy. That made everything in Amy's mind go to ease.

Amy then decided to do something that she hadn't done since the passing of Ty.
Amy decided to go look for something in the office. She was looking for a picture of her, Ty, and Lyndy.
Amy went out to the barn and started looking through a drawer. She found a note that was addressed to her.
The note said....
