Chapter 8

Okay so I know I haven't updated this shit for like a year but I'm updating for fun I guess muahahaha.

He leaned back and grabbed my phone.

"What's this? A phone?" He laughed a little turning the phone around examining it.

"Um, yeah," I replied a little out of it. When he leaned toward me I got to see his beautiful features. He looked so angelic and perfect.

"Hmm.... I'm gonna take this for a little." He looks at me with a smirk while shoving my phone in his pocket. That's when I realized that he might see all the fanfiction I read.

"Wait no-" before I could finish he got off the bed and went out of my room. I have no idea what happened.

I decided I should take a walk around the house, I had nothing else to do since Miles took my phone.

I went to a lake with a few flowers by it and just looked at all the fish in it. They all look so mesmerizing. Seeing this reminds me of my parents, we went to an aquarium one time and I saw these types of fish. I was like 5 at the time and I remember begging them to get one. I started to tear up a bit until I heard a similar voice behind me.

"You like them?" I turned around to see flora smiling and looking up at me with her hands behind her back.

"Yeah uhh, they look nice." I say as I quickly blink away the tears that were forming, not wanting to cry in front of Flora.

"Yeah I really like them too, but Miles killed one of them which made me sad." She said in a glum tone. I looked at her with curiosity on my face.

"Why'd he have to kill it..?" I asked in a what the fuck tone.

"He said to 'put it out of it's misery' and he stomped it hardly." She said twiddling with her thumbs. I said nothing.

"It's getting cold, why don't you head inside?" I tell her, I have a jacket on and she doesn't.

"How about you?"

"I'll be just fine, I have a jacket. You don't." I tell her. I don't want her to get sick. She's adorable.

As I continued with my walk I always felt eyes on me, as if the whole manor was watching me 24/7.

I went back inside into the guest room and when I opened the door Miles was inches away from me.

"Have fun on your walk?" Miles asks practically in my face. How did he know I was on a walk? I mean he does live here but it's pretty big for him to know exactly where I go.

"I guess so? How did you know I was on a walk?" I asked in a confused tone.

"I have my ways." He walks away.

But little did I know, he has been watching me ever since I came here.
