Chapter 1: Mommy's Home!

"Mater. Tow Mater that's who, here to help! And babysit this adorable little one." Mater said to himself

"Yeah, sure whatever Uncle Tow" The green racecar said to the rusty tow truck

Ever since Doc had forced Lightning to live in Radiator Springs after the tiebreaker race, Lightning had fully changed and had given birth to his baby, a boy named Kevin McQueen, a green racecar (he's green because Chick is green himself), he looked exactly like his mother but he has Chick's eye color and has anger issues but he means well.

Kevin is currently 4 years old, his birthday is coming up though in three months.

Mater and Kevin sees a lemon car named Otis who is stuck due to leaking oil.

"Hey, Otis." Mater said to Otis

"Hi, Mr. Otis" Kevin says shyly to the lemon car

"Hey, Mater. Hey, kiddo. I... Oh, gosh. I'm so sorry. I thought I could make it this time, but..." Otis says to the rusty tow truck and the baby racecar, as he tries to start up his engine which doesn't work out.

"Smooth like pudding, huh?" Mater asks Otis, who sighs in depression

"Who am I kidding? I'll always be a lemon." Otis says in disappointment.

"Well, dad-gum, you're leaking oil again. Must be your gaskets. Hey, but look on the bright side. This is your tenth tow this month, so it's on the house." Mater says as he begins to tow Otis back to town with Kevin following him.

"You and the kid here are the only ones that's nice to lemons like me, Mator." Otis says to Mater and Kevin

"Hi" Kevin says to Otis, he's normally shy around him because he's never seen him in town before

"Hi there, you adorable little cutie" Otis said to Kevin as he reaches his tire to tickle his chin (A/N: Do Cars Have Chins?) which makes him laugh, he love being called adorable after all he's the youngest member in Radiator Springs

"Don't sweat it. Shoot, these things happen to everybody. Even Cake here has it." Mater says to Otis

"I haven't leaked oil ever since Grandpa taught me how to use a toilet" Cake said to Mater and Otis about Doc potty training him.

"But you never leak oil." Otis says to Mater

"Yeah, but I ain't perfect. Don't tell nobody, but I think my rust is starting to show through." Mater says to Otis

Otis sees "Welcome to Radiator Springs, Home of Lightning McQueen" Sign, "Hey. Is Lightning McQueen back yet?" Otis asked Mater and Cake

"Not yet." Mater says to Otis, "Nope, Mommy ain't home yet" Cake says to Otis

"He must be crazy excited about winning his fourth Piston Cup. Four! Wow!" Otis exclaimed about Lightning winning his fourth Piston Cup

"Yeah, we're so dad-gum proud of him, but I wish he'd hurry up and get back, 'cause we got a whole summer's worth of best friend fun to make up for. Just me and..." Mater says to Otis and Cake

Cake then sees a familiar red racecar in town talking to it's residents, with his "grandfather" there, he gasps driving very fast

"MOMMY!" Cake says in excitement as he rushes to his mother while Mater gasps in fear

"Cake!" Mater rushes to Cake as he was driving too fast, knowing that he'd get hurt if he doesn't stop him.

"MOMMY! Mommy's home! Mommy, Mommy!" Cake says to Mater, as he still drives too fast not realizing that he's causing Mater to forget that he's towing Otis
