2. Another uncanny resemblance.

To Cheong San, Gwi Nam was his number 1 enemy, that asshole did nothing but harm. He's even more dangerous to the survivors than the zombies did, oh look, the irony.

He was, a half human, half zombie,(a/n rastaman yowwww) 

A creation of mankind's intelligence when it comes to technology, virus and epidemics. The virus mutates by itself, causing a great change to the host, in which the virus inhabits. When you get infected, there's no looking back. 

There's no looking back

This is the fate in which the rabbit hole you choose to open, as you fall, it's destined, there's no looking back.

Cheong San was damn sure he had gouged his eyes out, strong enough for him to fall in inevitable death, even Su Hyeok has a counter of 2-0, killing this man, only to come back alive.

What was he? An immortal of some sort?

As the day of the grand Hyosan Bombing came, they were still foe's in the very end. Lee Cheong San has sacrificed himself, only for his friends to escape, safe, and come out alive. 

Unfortunately, Yoon Gwi-Nam managed to dodge and bite Cheong San's arm, therefore causing him to become the monster just like he is.

A trail of blood flows from his nostrils, and his eyes twitches in a weird behaviour.

This seems to be the end, for Cheong San.

Or is it?

Minutes that felt like a powerful hour passed, and the bomb was to be dropped in less than 10 seconds at Hyosan Highschool.

His friends, companions, them, the survivors of this inhumane tragedy finally makes their way to 'home', it would be successful as it seems, but there was this guilt of leaving 'him' behind, just for them to escape. 

They looked back, to take one final glance at the building,

Orange smoke transpires from the building, a blinding light causing them to kneel, covering the their eyes with their forearm. Everything felt like a blur, as the debris showers them, like the moonlight did on their early nights of survival. 

Their beloved city, the city of Hyosan has been bombed, later causing the depletion of thousands of zombies. 

The zombies were gone, they were finally safe, as they make the trail to the near city following the satin gold ribbons tied on the trees.

When the bombing started, Cheong San couldn't do anything to save himself, instead he finds himself to flung, hugging unto Gwi Nam as they fall  to what seems to be the never-ending path, until they land on the corpses of zombies, Gwi Nam seems to survive the fall, but Cheong San had this metal dagger-like stabbed unto his stomach, later meeting his demise.

Out of pity for the boy, Gwi Nam shakes his shoulder, alarming him to wake up.

It was his final resort, he regrets having to gouge his eyes out the same way Cheong San did to him, but it was a moment of regret, he knew he wouldn't be surviving this apocalypse alone.

"O-oi!' Cheong-ah, wake up!"

But no, he doesn't wake up, all he could see now was a shatter of building falling to him.

The waves of regret fills Gwi Nam, maybe if he hadn't..

Only if...

There were many what it's, but it's too late.
