Chapter 1

I felt my heart pounding over and over again as I tried to interpret what I've just now done.It was like I was running for my life and my chest was hurting so bad it felt like it was on fire.I couldn't think right now of what I was doing or where I was going but I do know one thing that I needed to go somewhere else that wasn't here.My head began to feel dizzy and I felt as if I was going to pass out but I managed to run all the way to my grandma's house.Before I knocked on the door I swallowed hard.Knowing that she wasn't going to like what I was about to tell her,but finally I managed to knock on the door.She opened it the second time I knocked.She had a worried look on her face.

"Grandma they're after us now, and they have mom and dad." I said with so much anger and sadness in my voice.

"We have to go now." She said with pure madness.

A year later

"I don't understand why you do that weird thing with your lips,ugh stop making that face." I teased my bestfriend William as he managed to gulp down the nasty school cafeteria fries I dared him to eat with plenty of nasty stuff on it.

"You know I can't help that,that was very disgusting." He said with a sour attitude.

"Aww I'm so sorry,I'll never make you do that again as long as you never dare me to do what I did ever again." I laughed.

Ahh yes,William my bestfriend he had a smile that any girl would go crazy for.I used to have a crush on him I'll admit but now were just friends.... I mean I don't really know if we would take things any further though.He's an amazing guy though with a sweet and caring personality.I really admire that about him.Oh and the way his pretty blue eyes sparkle.I could just stare at them all day.

"Hazel,you keep dozing off." He said.

"Oh I'm sorry Will." I said while laughing.

I saw a group of mean girls walking by us.

"Ugh,Hazel why won't you just take my advice and stop wearing your hair in those ugly pigtails."One of them said.

"William why are you even friends with this loser?You would be much happier being friends with me." Another one said while playing with her perfect long blonde hair.

All of them laughed.

"You know what I would rather be friends with Hazel any time rather than you fake slut barbie dolls."William said with anger in his voice.

They all left and gave him a mean look.

"Its all okay Hazel and just know that I love you."He said while hugging me tightly.

I instantly smiled.I felt bad knowing that his love for me was only as a friend type of way.Only if he knew I wanted it to mean so much more.From my perspective whenever he said he loves me I would say I love him back but much more than friends.I liked William and I loved being around him

"I love you too." I instantly said. I really do.
