"You are not going anywhere Y/N."
Not bothering to listen to Yoongi you kept packing your bag up until he caught up your wrist in a gentle hold stopping your movements.
Annoyed by his actions you looked up at him only to receive his glare.
"I said you are not going anywhere."
"And why is that?" You asked back in exhaustion.
Letting out a sigh he left your wrist alone and looked down.
"It's been a week since what happened to Yuri. You didn't come out for 7 days, didn't talk, didn't eat for a week but suddenly today you come out to go to the association? Don't Y/N."
He spared a glance at you letting you know of his concerns and then in the softest voice whispered,
"I.. I don't want you hurt."
A spang of guilt hit you when his tone reached your ears. He's just looking out for you when you have bought nothing but trouble to him.
"I need to go today Yoongi. It's important and trust me I am okay now." You assured him while lying.
Yuri's death was still fresh in your mind, that's not something you could ever forget. And the..thing,you saw, that thing that killed Yuri. It somehow looked so familiar yet it was unknown. For a week you were traumatized with what you saw and in a trance that you couldn't come back.
"What did you see that night Y/N?" Yoongi asked in a serious voice with concern and a tinge of...curiosity?
"I told you what happened Yoongi. She called me telling me she's in danger and when I reached her she was dead." I
You half-lied not having the guts to tell him the truth.
Will he even believe you if you told him the things that happened, the thing you saw?
He won't and you don't want him to worry about your mental health.
No one will believe you.
Hell even you won't believe yourself.
But you know what you saw and you are sure it wasn't your hallucination.
"You are lying." Yoongi pointed out sounding disappointed.
Letting out a scoff you neared him and whispered to him,
"First you tell me how and where did you find me that night?" You questioned back making his lips purse in a thin line.
"You called me and when I reached you were unconscious lying next to Yuri's dead body. I panicked and picked you up running away from there leaving Yuri's dead body. I have told you this many times" He responded calmly.
You let out a chuckle.
"You are lying." You whispered his words back to him. "I never called you that day. I was going to but I didn't. Guess we both have our secrets." You said making him gulp.
Picking up your bag you made your way towards the door but stopped and looked at his frozen figure still standing at the same spot.
"Yoongi?" He looked at you still in a haze but then blinked a couples of times before responding with a "Yes?"
"Are you leaving for the lab today?" You asked.
"Yeah I'll be back in a few days."
Nodding your head you turned your back to him and made your way out not missing him shouting "take care!"
He might be lying but he must have his reasons and you won't pester him. He'll never do anything to hurt you.
You trust him.
