The part of the story that involved Sukuna not being sealed takes place in the Heian period of Japan. I want to try my best to keep it as accurate to the time period as possible and will do semi frequent research but correct me if im wrong on something significant. Enjoy the story <3

Chapter one

Your whole life has consisted of you being tossed to the side. Never good enough. You had soon come to realize you had pretty severe abandonment issues.

It started when your parents split and your mother left. You would never be good enough for her. No matter how much you kissed her ass.

Your mom unhesitatingly tosses you to the side, setting others above you in a heartbeat. No matter how bad she treated you though, you always went back to her. Always tried to be better. Tried to be good enough.

"Good afternoon, mother!" You wave at the woman who harshly cold shouldered you as she walked into the kitchen of the home. She had recently married a wealthy man who provided her with endless possessions. A house, more kimonos than one could count, jewelry, you name it. You got the occasional gift from time to time, her husband actually had a heart.

"Ya, hi" She responded plainly, not giving you a glance. She wore one of her fancy kimonos, showing off even when there's no one to show off to.

"Do me a favor, honey" She only said 'honey' when she needed something from you. "Head into town and fetch me some apples from the market. I've been meaning to make some pastries."

As much as you didn't want to do it you said, "Yes mom. I'll go into town." You plaster a soft smile on your face and get up from your seat. You change into a more fitting outfit for the walk, out of your comfortable home clothing. You place on a white kimono that had a beautiful cherry blossom pattern tracing up the side. A gift from your step father.

You enjoyed wearing the clothing he got you but one of the main reasons you wore them so frequently around her is that if you wore a kimono from your father and she knew, it'd turn into a shit show about not wanting to be reminded of your father in 'this household' so you kept your closet limited.

Because of it you looked like one of high class. Although, in a way you were from your mother marrying into wealth. But you also spent most your time with your dad who didn't have much to offer so it was an incredibly inconsistent part of your life.

Tying your soft pink ribbon around your waist as a last finishing touch, you leave your room. Your mother had been walking down the hallway at the same time as you. You say goodbye and she only eyes you up and down.

"Honestly honey if you ever wish to meet a fair suitor, I suggest you start eating like it" She states, tilting your head around with her fan to get a look at every angle of your face. You feel your heart ache and accidentally show it on your face. "Oh honey, I only wish the best for you and that's why I am so harsh on you" She caressed your cheek in a way that comforted you even though you knew it was not real.

"Yes mother"

The walk into town was quite a long one, passing a few strangers here and there.

Upon arriving, you head straight to the markets with a small basket hanging on your bent arm. Your judgement was quite good when it came to fruits, always choosing the right ones.

While choosing your apples, your hand reached for your last choice. Just before you could obtain it, a separate hand grabbed hold of it. A muscular hand with long, black nails at the tips of the fingers. You look up at the man who had so inconsiderately taken your apple, immediately being met with four crimson eyes.

Despite his action you couldn't help but think to yourself how pretty this man was. His four eyes were truly portrait perfect.

"That's my apple" You point out with an awkward smile, hoping your kindness would be enough.

"I grabbed it first, it's mine" He grinned, taking a bite out of the apple, juice squirting out.

"Alright" You sigh at the loss, reaching for a different apple. "This will do." You hum in satisfaction at the perfectly red apple in your palm.

He frowned, grabbing your wrist before you can walk away, digging his sharp nails into your skin. This time when you looked at him he had four arms.

You wince in pain slightly before you get used to the pain and just look at him, taking in the new look.

"You aren't going to scream? Cry? Don't you see what I look like? Im a curse." He sneered at your lack of fear you were showing. You admit you were a little scared, his dark aura sending shivers down your spine. But you weren't terrified.

"Hmm" You thought to yourself out loud. "No I don't think I will" You offer a small smile that made him cringe in annoyance. "I find you quite pretty actually....Do you mind if I paint you?"

Your compliment had only frustrated him further.

He closed his eyes and released a deep sigh, releasing your bloody wrist. "You're a waste of my time" He stated bored. He grabbed another apple from the stand, eating it as he walked away. His four arms were no longer visible to your eyes.

You nod slowly and pay the man that sold the apples, now walking back toward home. You had rolled up your sleeve and held your arm away from your body, as to not stain your white kimono.

People worriedly glanced in your direction but didn't bother to say anything about it. Not until a certain man tapped you on the shoulder, gaining your attention.

"Good afternoon, miss. I happen to be a local doctor and was wondering if you'd allow me to wrap that up for you? I was on my way to my office and I have bandages on me. I won't take much of your time" You agree to his request, sticking your left arm out to him for him to examine and wipe off.

He had disinfected the wound and wrapped bandage around your wrist. You watched the process with a few winces here and there in which he'd kindly apologize each time.

His eyes were a mesmerizing blue, his hair a white that was even brighter under the sun. He had a kind face that warmed your heart just to look at it.

"That'll do it. Make sure to frequently clean it so it doesn't get infected." He says as he finished.

"Thank you so much....um"

"Gojo. Gojo Kaito"

"Thank you, Gojo." You bow respectingly. "A fitting name to your eyes. Im (l/n) (y/n)" He bowed in return.

"A beautiful name for a beautiful woman. I say your name is quite fitting to you yourself." His compliment made you blush.

"You don't have to go straight to your office, right? Would you allow me to treat you to dinner as a thank you for your kindness?"

"Oh It's no big deal really"

"I insist. I haven't eaten today yet and im honestly hungry myself." You admit, pushing him further. He sighs in defeat with a smile, nodding his head.

"You've convinced me, let's get dinner"
