It is now Thursday morning and I was wondering why I'm so messed up. I get a text,
"Hey sweetheart I hope you are okay. I was thinking since I am in a good mood would you like to figure out who I am today?"
I quickly responded, "well as long as you are not going to kill me yeah I would love to meet you."
"Ok. at the end of the day meet me next to the football field."
"Ok bye."
"Bye sweetheart."
I really didn't want to go to school but hey I can meet the Secret admirer. I can't wait. I dress up special for him and also to piss of River. I wear ripped skinny jeans a red t-shirt with a black leather jacket over the shirt with red flats because I cannot walk in heels. I put on some red lipstick and the rest of my makeup on. I really like what I look like today. I walk down stairs and my mom is actually home.
"Hi mom."
"Hey sweetie woe you look incredible. can I drive you to school?"
"Um sure and thank you."
We get in the car and in a flash we are there. I walk in and everyone turns and looks at me. All of a sudden River runs up to me.
"Caroline why are you dressed like that?"
"Because I want to."
"Every guy is staring at you."
"And your point is River?"
"Never mind."
Then River walked away. The day went pretty normal until lunch. I walked into the lunch room when a guy with dirty blonde hair and golden brown eyes came up to me and said, "Hi I'm Lane would you like to sit with me today?"
"Yeah sure."
I figured River and Brandon wouldn't mind. We walked over to his table and he introduced me to his friends. There was a blonde girl that looked really familiar. " Caroline this is Ashley, Brianna, Ryder and Andrew."
"Hi I'm Caroline."
All of a sudden Ashley spoke up,"wait are you the Caroline that River likes?"
"Well I don't think he likes me but yeah I'm that Caroline."
"Then you don't know anything. He won't even sleep with me anymore you have completely ruined it for me and him."
"Well he should come back for you anytime now, because I'm not a virgin and he is pissed about that."
"Ok then."
All of a sudden Lane spoke up.
"Well anyways you can sit next to me and we can get to know each other."
"Okay."
We talked for awhile. Then River came over.
"Hey Ashley, do you want to come over and hang out?"
"Actually River, Caroline and I are going to hang out isn't that right caroline?"
"Yeah I guess."
"Oh and Lane don't fuck with Caroline."
"You know what River? I think Caroline likes hanging out with me more than you anyway and I don't fuck with her emotions like you do."
All of a sudden River ran at Lane and started to throw punches at him. I ran over to River and got between them.
"Caroline get the fuck away."
"No River stop."
Soon enough River stopped and I took his hand and we ran to the parking lot. River got into his car. I was just about to get in but then he drove off. I eventually went back into the school. Lane came up to me.
"Caroline I am so sorry I don't know why I said any of that stuff can we start over?"
"Of course Lane I would love to start over."
He stepped closer, "Hi I'm Lane."
"Hi Lane I'm Caroline."
"After school meet me at the park so we can hang out."
"Is that a question or a demand?"
"It is a question."
"Ok at what time?"
"How about 5:00"
"Yeah I have something to do right after but that works."
"Ok see you then."
"Wait Lane what park exactly?"
"Um riverfalls park."
"Ok I'll see you then."
"Bye."
Then Lane walked away. I didn't feel like going to class so I skipped I went out to the football field I sat on the back side of it and waited. For some reason I felt like my life was depending on meeting him. The football team came out and started to practice I watched them waiting for my secret guy. it was about 4:00 and he didn't show up yet I was beginning to feel sad. My phone buzzed. "hey beautiful I will be right out I had practice sorry."
So he is a football player. All of a sudden a tall tan guy with black hair with sapphire eyes was walking towards me. I got up and started to walk to him.
"Caroline, wow you actually stayed."
"Umm I have been waiting to meet the guy that makes me smile."
"I make you smile, oh wait sorry my name is Jackson."
"Well, hi Jackson. It's really nice to meet you."
His smile is gorgeous he has a perfect smile his eyes are bright and they have a little wrinkle he is absolutely adorable. I looked at my phone when I realized it was 5:00.
"Shit, I'm sorry Jackson I have to go I am supposed I hang out with Lane today. I'm sorry I'll text you when I get home."
"It's ok Caroline I can't wait to talk to you."
"Ok see you later wait where is riverfalls?"
"Well you take the two lefts and its right there."
"Ok thanks."
I walked over to him and hugged him. Then I walked away from him.
