Looking at your clock it reads 12 o'clock in the morning. The phone on the night stand beside the clock vibrates in receiving a text message. Reaching your hand out in the dark you grab the phone and tap the message sent by Brett, 'It's time!', it reads. You throw the covers off of your legs and get out of bed exposing black jeans and laced up combat boots. You quietly walk to your full length mirror and turn your lamp up. Your hair was still in pretty good shape, long and naturally doing what it normally does and your make up was mistake free. Before turning the lamp off you grab a long military green jacket and pull it over your flannel button up.
Once the lamp was turned off you quickly climb out your bedroom window, grab a backpack shoved behind a bush and start jogging toward the back woods behind Beacon Hills high. Once at the edge the phone in your back pocket starts vibrating.
"Hello?" You ask walking into the woods.
"Hey where are you?" Brett asks. "You here yet?"
"Just walking into the woods, I'm not really sure where you would want me to meet up." You look around the dark woods and up at the clear sky. You breath out seeing it turn to a cloud of mist. It was a chilly night.
"Let me find you!" He says chuckling.
"Alright I'll be standing near the a patch of trees close to the Lacrosse field."
"Wearing?"
"Wouldn't you like to know Talbot?" You say twirling a strand of hair around your fingers.
"It's cold out so I hope you wore layers."
"A green jacket and jeans!" You shout.
"You should be warm enough in my arms." He whispers and your body goes hot.
You stand up against the near by tree and smile trying to keep in a giggle that was fluttering at the bottom of your stomach.
"Will I now?" You ask. "Only in your arms."
"It's all I have to offer," He says against the phone. You can hear the leaves crackling beneath his heavy foot steps along with the snapping of twigs.
"It might be all that I want right now." You go shy on the phone and felt the fluttering turning into nerves. Nerves of anticipation. Maybe you would want more.
"Then that is fine with me. I'm in no rush, Bri I'm up for whatever you're up for."
"No rush? I think we've rushed a lot of things," Your conversation continues. "I'd like to know more about you maybe."
"Only if I can know more about you."
"Of course, but what if I do want to kiss you." You say sheepishly.
"What if I want to kiss you too?" Brett walks out from the woods, with a smile on his face. He approaches you still on his phone. He's wearing a leather jacket with dark jeans and boots. "There you are! You ready?"
"Ready for what?" You ask side eyeing him.
"You'll see, I've got a few tricks up my sleeves other than the usual wolf ones." He winks.
The walk toward the spot wasn't a long one, but once you both get to at a certain distance one of his hands cover your eyes while the other one leads you.
"What are you doing Brett?" You ask slightly annoyed.
"Well I kind of wanted it to be a surprised."
"A surprise? You honestly don't seem like the kind of guy who would take the time."
"I'm going to pretend you didn't say that," He huffs. "Just go with it okay, you're the one with this idea of wanting to sleep out beneath the stars."
"I mean you didn't really take the time to get to know me before we got physical and that's okay I guess."
"Come on Bri, just go with it please!"
"Okay I'll go with it." You smile.
He leads you through a small clearing and you can feel heat flickering across your face and body. There was a the sweet smell of chocolate and something sugary, like marshmallows along with burning wood. A fire, a bon fire.
He removes his hand from your face and your eyes light up. There was a small little fire surrounded by rocks with two chairs sitting behind it. A box sat in the middle with bottle water, chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers. To the left of the chairs was a large blanket laid out flat with a couple of pillows and two more folded blankets on top. You turn and look at him mouth wide open and eyes about to pop out of your head.
"All of this," You shake your head in amazement gazing at how magical the woods looked with the dancing flame casting shadows against the trees. "You planned all of this for us? I didn't think you honestly would be up for this or was that interested in-"
"I planned it," He smiled looking down scratching the back of his neck. He almost seemed nervous which was unusual. "I've never done something like this, I thought it would be fun and a nice break from the stuff that has been happening around here. I just wanted to make you happy.""It's wonderful!" You smile taking in your surroundings. "I mean a fire and the blanket...you wanted to make me happy?"
"Is that hard to believe?" He asks furrowing his brows. The orange light was doing a number on his face, it made him look supernatural...more than being a werewolf teenager. His face seemed to gleam making his cheek bones more prominent and his eyes sparkle. You almost wanted to know what you looked like to him. "That I would want to make you happy?"
"I mean...to be honest maybe," You look down and lick your lips trying to prevent this situation from going up and down again. "No one has gone out of their way for me like this. And Brett you can come off as..."
"Cold?" He asks. "But you-"
"Can too?" You look at him mashing your lips together. "I know I can and you know I can. It's just how I do things."
"But you played the game with me," His face turns dangerous. "As shocked as I was at how well you retaliate..."
"I did didn't l, I guess I had a thing for this tall, strange haired, lacrosse player from Devenford prep" As you spoke you get closer and closer to him. "Who randomly transferred to my school. Rumor has it he's even a werewolf just like me."
"Rumor also has it he has a thing for this quick tempered feisty, beautiful girl who blushes every time he's around." He extends a hand and skims his finger tips against your cheek then grabs your hand leading you to the chairs with the supplies to make s'mores.
"I don't know about you, but when I was younger I used to make s'mores with my friends and it was the best thing ever!" Brett says grabbing a bag of marshmallows. He picks a stick off the ground, sticks it into the marshmallow and lowers it to the flame it starts to heat up. "Brings back great memories."
"I used to all the time and it was the best!" He hands you a stick and a marshmallow. "Summer nights and fall nights with my buddies! Tents and jokes! Jackets and blankets!"
"Not that I-um-ugh look at you like that, you know a friend...you are a friend, but I want to do things to you-with you!" He clears his throat sounding even more nervous. "I mean I ugh-"
Brett shoves his marshmallow into his mouth before it had the chance to cool off to prevent him from continuing his sentence. He lets out a quiet hiss.
"That's cool Brett I want to do things to you-with you too," You snicker looking away and voice trailing off. You bring your roasted marshmallow up to your face and examine it. It was done. "Maybe more things than you think I want to do."
Brett coughs loudly and you quickly look at him as you grab the chocolate and graham crackers.
"Are you okay?" You ask smirking at him.
"I'm fine, I'm fine," He swallows his marshmallow. "I'm fine."
"Just making sure." You make a s'more and find a seat near the fire. Brett sits down beside you. "Can't have you die on me when the fun has just begun."
After making a couple of s'mores, opening a few bottles of water and discussing favorite movies, colors and music the fire starts going out. You glance back at the blanket that was starting to look comfy and back at Brett's arms. An idea popped into your head. You stand up.
"It's getting a bit cold out here," You you say rubbing your arms through your coat. "It's got to be close to 2 o'clock in the morning now."
"We can lay on the blanket if you want, I've brought a couple. And there are pillows just incase we fall asleep."
"We can.." You nod your head and get up from your chair. "Look at the stars and..."
"I'd like that. I think I can already see Orion's belt now!" He points at the sky.
Before walking over to the blankets, Brett pours a bucket of sand onto the dulling embers. Both of you walk over toward the blanket and Brett is the first to sit down, you look at him questioning what it could lead up to and know good and well where your body wanted it to go. Brett reaches a hand up at you and pulls you down onto the blanket playfully wrapping you into his arms. He somewhat curls up around you.
"I think I see a constellation now." You giggle.
"Are you cold now?" He asks pulling you closer to him. You smell his skin and your muscles start relaxing like they always do.
"I think I'm still a little cold."
"I don't get it, you're a werewolf shouldn't you be warm already?"
"Maybe." You shrug in his embrace.
"Well then how about we get beneath the covers?" He unlatches himself, strips his coat then drapes the blankets around his shoulders and yours. You two were now sitting beside each other. "Is this a bit better?"
"I think we can do better." You boldly say.
"Oh that's right I have a way of making things heat up." His nervous feelings were disappearing and his voice was gaining strength.
"You do?" you ask playing around. "I've forgotten how."
Brett looks down at your mouth, then grabs your face and presses his lips to yours. One of his hands slips into the inside of your jacket and snakes around your rib cage. He pulls you closer and opens his mouth to deepen the kiss and your body goes naturally into his. Deepening the kiss he slips his hands up to your shoulder and pushes your jacket down. You help finish the process by pulling the jacket off leaving yourself in your flannel button up. With an urge you slip your hands beneath his long sleeve shirt and latch onto his back bringing him back toward you. A second round of kisses start up again, getting almost messier.
"Whenever I'm doing this with you," You breath breaking away for only seconds. "I can relax, I feel right."
"Right? Like nothing is wrong." He breaths.
Brett lowers you onto the blanket where you were partially still in his arms and hand inch up to the center of his back. He eyes flash yellow making yours flash. You lay flat now, staring up at Brett hoping he'd make the first dangerous move at the end of the game.

Brett's mouth finds your neck instantly, sucking at the skin gently almost afraid to leave marks then his teeth meets your throat nipping at the skin. You arch up into his chest making him nip at you again a bit harder.

A growl forces out of your mouth and he almost mimics. His lips trail down to your collar bone trails down toward your chest until he meets flannel.
"Only if you're okay." He whispers, looking down at you with calm eyes. They were no longer their golden color.
"I'm okay," You nod smiling up at him, giving permission. "Brett I'm okay, please continue."
His fingers meet your skin, they unbutton, button after button until your shirt is open. The cool fall air skims your stomach and a pattern of goose bumps scatter across your skin. Brett's warm hand open your shirt a bit more and his mouth meets where he left off, his kisses becoming more aggressive as his lips trail down to the small piece of fabric keeping your peach color bra together. You hold back a few giggles because his touch somewhat tickles. His mouth kisses down your stomach and nerves flutter inside. Once at your belly button his tongue flickers across it causing you arch up again. He was at another barrier, your jeans. "You're enjoying this right?" He asks making eye contact. "You're still okay?"
"Don't stop!" You growl grabbing his hair.
Your legs open and he steps in-between them. His hands find the waist of your jeans and the button.
"Are you sure?" He asks again, his finger tips running up and down your stomach now.
"Yes," You bite your bottom lip. "Please."
His fingers unbutton your jeans.
