Three weeks before the school year was starting again, an exchange student called Jakob came to Sofies family. Him and Sofies brother were gonna change family's s for the school year of 2022.

Jakob was from England and Sofies Family lives in America which is why communication wasn't a problem. All of it was only for an exchange year listed on there resume that both boys needed for a job they were craving.

The Uber set Jakob directly for Sofies house where he immediately was accompanied by her parents.
They welcomed him and walked inside. Sofie siting on the sofa, still not very happy with the hole situation just gave him a quick wink and got back to watching TikTok while eating nuggets. Jakob smiled back and put his bags in his prepared room.

Sofie wasn't happy cause she thought she had a hole year without her annoying brother, but now another stupid teenage boy would ruin it. Her parents promised her that she wouldn't have to do much with him, except talking at the diner table.

So there she was, siting in front of Jakob. Staring at her beans while slurping ice tea. "You want some Jakob?" "No thanks I'm trying Workouts at the time so sweet drinks aren't the best for me."
-oh god I can clearly see his judgement that he also must have felt as I ate those chicken nuggets before, she thought to herself.

They had some kind of small talk during dinner if you could call it that. Actually it was just her parents asking Jakob questions about his life that he was clearly not thrilled to answer.

"Kids, dad and I are going to bed, but since it's still holidays you can stay up and watch a film If you want to." -mom yelled down the stairs. Sofie sat down in the living room and turned the tv on. Surprisingly Jakob came too. He quietly watched as she choose some random action movie she thought looked gripping. "You watch action movies?" "Yes i don't think much of these predictable romance movies." "Interesting" - interesting? Huh? What was he even- uh actually I don't care, she canceled her thought at that moment cause the film started to get really really good.

They watched the film in silent, Jakob only stood up once and brought them both some water, Sofie wanted ice tea, but she obviously couldn't tell him that so she just smiled and took it. After a while the weird tension also broke cause she was too focused on the movie to even remember he was also in the room. Jakob watched her drink the water and than fell asleep. - I guess he was still sleepy from the flight, she put a blanked over his body and went to sleep herself. She knew her parents would be mad for letting him sleep on the sofa, but she really didn't want to wake him up.

The next morning her parents were already away for work and Jakob was standing next to the fridge probably searching for milk or something, as she walked down the stairs. Her hair still in a messy bun with a few hair strings falling in her eyes she yelled good morning before slowly walking into the bathroom.

Unexpectedly as she walked out of the bathroom Jakob was still in front of the fridge. "Hey the things in there are going to thaw if you don't close it soon." "Im really sorry I just can't find the butter, but your mom told me there was still some in here." - oh butter "Oh wait a moment, mom always puts it in a difficult spot so it doesn't waist any place where you could put more important stuff." "More important than butter?" Sofie chuckled cause he said it in such a serious way.

She put the butter next to the sink and gave him a smile while turning around to walk back to her room. "Wai-" before she could notice his hand slid around her waist and pushed her back to him. "What are you-" she said while her head was turning a light red shape. "The fridge door is still open you almost ran in." "Right." She felt stupid, still feeling some butterfly's in her stomach from that random action. She closed the door straight away and walked up the stairs as fast as she could... and without noticing she smashed her room door a little. He smirked a bit while grabbing the butter she left him.

Short chapter to start of with a new story, I'm thrilled to see where this is gonna lead me.
