backstory
pog and sans were a renowned couple in waltnam, except for the fact that nobody actually knew they were together. i guess you could say people 'shipped' them together. it was quite funny to them though, they wondered if they were that obvious.
pog and sans didn't see eachother often due to the fact of they lived in other sides of the world, the fact they met on a discord server plus kept it secret from said discord and covid. whenever they would get to see eachother they would make the most out of the time together they did have. they were a happy couple.
there were obviously one or two people who knew of them (their bestfriends in the server) and they were accepting of the relationship.

pog (🎶hopped off the plane at LAX with a dream and his cardigan🎶) got off of the plane, he was now in the state where sans lived. 'california '
pog walked through the airport in california after collecting his luggage, only to be greeted by sans striding over to him, engulfing him in a tight hug, pog let go of his suitcase to be able to hug sans back.
pog wrapped his arms around sans as sans burrowed his head into his chest, soon looking up at him and giving him a large smile, this immediately put a smile on pogs face as he kissed sans on the forehead.
sans and pog pulled away from the hug before pog grabs his suitcase in one hand and holds sans hand with the other, sans walks him through the crowds of people, making small talk as they avoid bumping into others.
they make their way down the streets, walking happily just as sans points out the places around. pog watching sans get excited and distracting himself with just watching sans instead of his surroundings. without noticing he walks into sans' back when he stopped, sans just chuckled and continued to walking after getting pogs attention.
the two of them make their way to a small sushi restaurant, sitting across from eachother and eating together, sans eventually just starts staring at pog as he eats his sushi, smiling.
"this is nice" sans smiled at pog, pog looked up from his sushi and nodded in agreement. as it became kind of silent after that sans went on his phone for a bit, scrolling through nsfw art twitter.

time skip
it was pogs last day in california as he was meant to leave later that night, as he cuddled with sans on the couch he felt his shirt get wet, he looked down to see sans silently sobbing into his shirt.
pog rubbed the back of sans head and kissed his forehead, cuddling into him for the rest of his duration with him for the next... only god knows how long it would be until the two of them actually get to see eachother again.
as their time together came to a close, sans went with pog to the airport, his eyes still puffy from crying so much, he holds pogs hand for as long as he can, they sat together for a while until pog had to let go of sans so he can get on his plane, pog gave sans a soft kiss.
the happy couple said their goodbyes and pog left, the two of them spoke after he landed, but somehow it felt as if this specific real life encounter made them drift apart.
as time passed the two spoke less and less, eventually leading them to speak as if only long term friends, although they never officially broke up, they had both silently agreed to be friends. the love they had for eachother was strong, but it wasn't the type of love that is suitable for a long term relationship.
this lead them to eventually stop talking completely, moving on to start new chapters of their lives, starting relationships and families. the two of them slowly forgot about eachother, leaving their first loves as a distant memory who's name nor face they could even remember.
one day as old waltnam members flicked through the channels on t.v they came across the news, the news showed two faces that seemed familiar. sans and pog had been involved in what seemed to be a murder suicide. nobody really knew who murdered and who committed suicide but all they knew was there was barely any remains left of the two besides two notes written from the both of them, and some blood. sans was found inside the body of an enlarged ribbit, he vored sans. whilst pogs body wasn't really found considering it was across the walls, splattered everywhere as he had been blended up.
