📌What is 'Special'?

In my AU, there are two types of humans or genders: Normal (Beta) and Special.

꧁Normal (Beta):

These are regular humans. Both males and females fall into this category. In this group, only males can impregnate, and only females can become pregnant. Normals do not have any distinctive scent.

꧁Special:

This group includes both males and females with unique reproductive abilities. Male Specials can get pregnant, while female Specials can impregnate.

Unlike Normals, Specials have distinctive scents that are only detectable when someone is close to their neck or when the Special is experiencing heightened arousal (note: "arousal" is the appropriate term here).

✦ The scent of a Special is sweet and pleasant, resembling flowers, trees, foods, or other pleasant smells. Each Special has a unique natural scent.

✦ Normals cannot smell other Normals or themselves but can detect the scent of Specials. Specials can smell themselves, other Specials, and Normals.

꧁Population Statistics:

✦ In the general population, 50% are female and 50% are male. Of the female population, only 10% are Special. Among the male population, only 1-2% are Special.

✦ Male Specials are extremely rare and generally weaker than their female counterparts. Female Specials are more common and are generally stronger than female Normals.

In my AU, the concept of "Special Pack" or simply "Pack" refers to a group of people who are involved in romantic or marital relationships.

This includes both Specials and Normals, and sometimes just Specials. The Pack allows for multiple relationships, marriages, and love interests, but members must obtain permission from the Pack Leader.
