My Neighbour H.G

Chapter 2

Meadow's POV

I fixed outfit just as the little girl I saw before came running over. She huged Nash's leg and hid her face. I giggled at her cuteness.

"Mead, this is Skylynn my little sister, Sky, this is Meadow. Can you say hi to her?" Nash picked her up and put her on his hip. "Hi" she was literally the definition of cute. I smiled and said "You are absolutely adorable!" She giggled and poked my nose. Awwww.

So after talking to Nash and Sky for a while I went inside and carried all my stuff up to my room. I smiled and ran and jumped onto the bed. It was fun .After jumping on my bed like a little girl, I began to unpack all my bags and boxes. About 5 minutes later my mom came upstairs and told me she was leaving. As mean as she to me, I will miss her. I hugged her and she kissed my cheek before walking down the hall. I let a small smile form on my lips as I finished the first box. I keep unpacking until my dad came in and told me we were eating dinner with these people named the Griers. I just smiled and agreed because I didn't have a choice. I finised my last box and then decided to put something a little more classy on. I looked through my walk-in closet and picked out a dark blue jeans, black top and black boots. I wanted to look casual yet classy so I went for a simple outfit.

At about 4:30, my dad told me it was time to go. We had a conversation as we walked out of the house and down the driveway. I thought we would be driving to meet these "Griers" bit apperently we were going to their house and it was in walking distance. I followed my dad as he walked on the sidewalk and he wasn't kidding. It really was in the walking distance. They live right next door. My dad rang the doorbell as I stood behind him waiting for somebody to opened the door. Then a few moments later Nash came to the door. Wait. Nash?! OMG! I forgot he was my neighbour. I couldn't be more excited right now.

My dad greeted Nash and walked into the house. I smiled when I saw Nash. His eyes widned and he grinned widely. "Mead!" He yellled excitedly picking me up and spining around. I giggled. "Hey Nash." He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and led me to the kitchen where I found my dad and a woman whom I'm assuming is Mrs.Grier.

"Mom, this is Meadow. She is Jason's daughter." "Oh honey! It's nice to meet you! You're so beautiful. I'm Elizabeth. And I guess you already met Nash." I smiled. "It's nice to meet you too." We all got to know each other until the phone rang. Elizabeth ran to the phone and answered.

"Hello?" "Oh, hi Hayes!" "I miss you too!" "Okay honey." "See you soon, love you." "Bye."

I guess I looked confused because Elizabeth laughed and said

"Hayes is my other son. I have 3 kids. My oldest will, Nash and his little brother Hayes who is fourteen and their little sister Skylynn." "Oh yes!" "I met Skylynn before when I met Nash. She is the cutest thing ever!"

We ate not too long after. It was Elizabeth, her husband, Skylynn then Nash and I on ther other side. I think Nash is my new bestfriend. The food was delicious and the Griers were just absolutely amazing. I love them. I'm glad I will be seeing them since my dad is apperently good friends with them. I think I will like this new enviroment.
