Chapter 10

Meadow's POV

Hayes and I walked down the sidewalk talking with our hands intertwined.Our conversation were small but meaningful.We were tired of walking when we found a playground.Us being the little kids we are,ran to the swings and just kept laughing.We are definitely best friends.He is like the boy version of me.We ran around, swang on the swings and even climbed a tree.Once we thought we had enough, we began walking again.

"Do you like McDonald's?" Hayes asked as we walked down the street.I turned to face him with a serious look on my face. "Really Hayes,is that even a question?" He laughed and then just nodded.Not too long after we were standing inside McDonald's ordering some food.Once we sat down we got into a serious conversation.

"So,have you ever had a boyfriend? Like a true boyfriend?" Hate asked.I wasn't really sure how to explain my answer.I had a bad experience with my ex boyfriend.Sure I am young but my ex;Max,definitely wasn't concerned about our age.

"Yes,actually," I sighed before continuing. "I had a boyfriend last year named Max,he was actually one of my really good friends and he seemed like a good person so I didn't reject him,But little did I know he was a lunatic and he wanted to get in pants,Which scared me so much considering my age." I looked into Hayes wide eyes and couldn't help but giggle. "How about you.A cute fellow like you had to have a special somebody in your life." "Not really actually.I mean I had a little fling one girl named Jessica but she was just looking for attention." Hayes said.I nodded. "And also I'm glad you think I'm a 'cute fellow'." I blushed and laughed realizing I admitted he was attractive. but could you blame me? He is tottaly gorgeous.We talked a little bit more after we ate before we walked off to the arcade down the block.
