happy today '

I was at the coffee shop sitting and waiting for my number to be called for me to get my coffee and muffin. Finally after 5 minutes my number was called. I got up and got my stuff and walked out the coffee shop and got into my car. I put my coffee in my cup holder and muffin to the side. * beep beep * I heard my phone ring and I was getting a call from my crush, I cleared my throat and made sure I was cute even though he couldn't see me through the phone. I answered and said, "hello?"

I put him on speaker so I could start my car and drive to where I was going. " Leana who else is in the car with you?" He said with his deep cracking voice. Oh god I love his voice so much. "No one just me" I said calmly. About 2 weeks ago he dumped that pick me girl. I was actually happy because I had a feeling that I could probably get him to myself. "ima come get you at like .. 8:00 for dinner I'm taking you out" he said.

"uhh okay I'll be ready when you come" I said with a smile. "I'll see ya later I gotta go" he said while hanging up the phone. After he hung up the phone I played "Hrs and hrs" and sung it with all of my heart. By the time the song was over I was already home. I drove in the driveway , took my seatbelt off and turned the car off and locked the doors.

I got out and unlocked the front door and went inside the house. I could smell my mom cooking some food from the front door the smell is a good smell to. "Hi mom!" I said with a big smile on my face. "Hi baby dinner will be ready in about 5 minutes". She said never looking from the pan she was cooking the food in.

I took my shoes off and when I stepped on the carpet my feed was dancing proudly because they were now warm. I walked upstairs in my room and looked at my phone. It was 5:21 , I went in my closet and was looking at some heels I had so I can figure out what shoe I wanna wear. I ALWAYS have trouble picking out shoes when I'm about to go somewhere fancy. Anyways, I was looking at some red bottoms when I heard my phone beep. It was my best friend. She was calling me so I answered.

"Hello gurl?" I said in the phone while putting it on speaker. " me and my soon to be boo thang is going to dinner today, I was gonna invite you and your soon to be boo thang to come to it could be a double date". She said , "thank you for the invitation I would love to come but me and him are already going on a dinner date I have to call him and see if he wants it to be a 'double date" I said.

"Okay girl hurry and call me back once you call him" She said and hung up. "Sometimes I wanna break my phone just for nothing" I mumbled. I heard my closet door open and I didn't care who it was because I was still looking at my shoes. "Heyyyyyyyy" I heard a little cute voice say. "HIIIIIIII" I said and turned around to see my baby brother. He lives in California with my dad and sometimes we go and visit but things with my mom and dad are just not on the same level.

I ran towards him and got on my knees to hug him so tight. I really don't get to see him that much because I don't have the money to get on a plane to go to California. I mean well I can drive but that's long and boring. " I miss you so much Kayden!" I said my head still in the crook of his neck. " I miss you to Lee!" he said with his little VERY sweet voice.

( "Lee" is a nickname for my name because my name is "Le-an-a" so it's perfect. )

* beep beep *
I heard my phone ring and pulled away, I got up and grabbed my phone and looked at the message. it was my crush it said "your best friend texted me and asked me if I wanted to go on a double date with you and her and her boyfriend so I was wondering if you wanted to go!"

"yes I would love to" I texted back and put my phone down to see Kayden already gone out of the closet. I chuckled and walked out of my closet grabbing my phone and closing the door behind me. I threw my phone on the bed while walking out of my room to the downstairs. I seen mom making the plates for lunch / brunch.

We all sat down and mom sat the plates in front of everyone and we all talked and ate a happy lunch / brunch ..
