What happened to the 'possible love interests'?

You're just protecting them
All the others don't deserve them
They were trying to hurt your sweetheart

It was an act of love
You're doing what's best for them
You care about their future with you

Don't be too soft with them

If they get away
Make sure they learn not to disobey again
If you lose them to another
Then no one can have them
