No one's POV

As the sun started setting, (Y/N) went on his usual patrol as a Hashira. He had encountered a few demons until he saw a shadow, limping.
He squinted his eyes until he saw a male with bright yellow hair with red streaks all bloodied. Eyes widened with shock as his thoughts flooded his mind.

'What happened? Where are the kakushis? Where is he going?'
He realised he has already wasted enough time and rushed to help the flame hashira. When they got into (Y/N)'s estate, he quickly started to patch Rengoku's wounds.

(Y/N)'s POV

After patching up his wounds, I finally asked "What the hell happened?!?" "Thanks for saving me (Y/N)... " he smiled ignoring my question. "Tell. me. what. happened." I said in a serious tone while glaring at his golden eyes. 'Wow.. I never knew his eyes were this pretty' I suddenly thought not realising I was blushing.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I felt his hand on my forehead "W-What are you doing??" I protested. "Are you sick?" he asked. "N-No... just got lost in my thoughts. " you mumbled. "Oh yeah remember that demon we met at the Mugen Train? Yea... I met him again.." he said with a frown.

Eyes widened with shock, I hugged him with my face buried in his chest making him wince in pain from still being injured. I quickly pulled back and muttered a "sorry..." "It's okay.. I quite like your affection~" he teased staring into my e/c eyes. I quickly looked away blushing earning him a chuckle. "Just kidding!" he boomed out while wearing his usual big smile.

-Timeskip to midnight-

Rengoku has already fallen asleep while I was staring at the moon unaffected by the time as it froze in my mind until the cold wind brushed against me, snapping me back to reality. I got into my estate to sleep but before that I went to check Rengoku if he woke up only to see him still asleep.

'Damn, I guess he doesn't need anything' I thought while sitting on the bed sneaking a peek at his sleeping face. "He's hot as hell.." I whispered hopefully he didn't hear. "Oh? You think I'm hot~" he teased while opening one of his eyes. "I- I- uh- I-" I kept stuttering but got interrupted when I felt his soft lips on mine.

Rengoku's POV

I've had feelings for (Y/N) for a while now but I thought he wouldn't feel the same for me, until that one line.

"He's hot as hell..."

We stayed in the kiss for a while, (Y/N) was shocked at first but gave in. After a few minutes we pulled back panting for air. He hugged me again but I ignored the pain and patted his head.
