Go Time

Raven groaned as she searched for her communicator. It was the middle of the night and the twins were finally sleeping. She finally located the device and opened it. "Hello?"

"Raven?" Diana "Prince", Princess of Themyscira (Wonder Woman) panted heavily.

"Mother?" Raven peeled her eyes open. "What are you doing?"

"I'm in labor." Diana grinned shakily.

Raven's brows jumped as she came awake at that. "What?!"

A baby cried out as Changeling moved in bed.

"Yes. I'm in labor." Diana huffed.

"Oh!" Raven tried to quiet down but she wasn't nearly prepared. "Where are you?!"

"Home."

"You have to go to a hospital you trust or have a midwife. Do you have a doula?"

Diana shook her head. "I picked a hospital and have a doctor."

"Then go to the hospital. I'll be there as soon as I can."

"Okay." Diana nodded with wide eyes.

"We'll get you through this- Where's Father?"

Diana smacked her lips. "He fainted."

Raven almost laughed.

Raven punched the button for the maternity ward and readjusted Artemis in her arms.

Changeling could tell she was frazzled because she was near vibrating and her powers kept conjuring up makeup. "It'll be okay, Rae."

She looked at him with wide violet eyes. "She's in labor!"

"She'll be fine. She's an Amazon."

That actually calmed her a bit. She nodded and repressed. "She's an Amazon."

The lift opened and the family of six hurried from it and to the nurse's station.

Raven asked for her mother's room.

A nurse told her and the family raced to it. Though they needn't bother because Diana could be heard from down the hall.

Raven pushed open the door. "Mother?"

Diana screamed loudly. "Raven?!"

Raven led the way inside. "Mother? Are you okay?"

"No! This hurts! How have you done this twice and with twins?!"

"I got the drugs." Raven was serious.

"Drugs?" Charlotte looked up at her father.

Changeling gulped. "I'll take Charlie and Bas to the cafeteria."

J'onn J'onnz (Martian Manhunter) was rattled. "Thank you."

Raven took Apollo from his father and went to the bed. "How are you holding up?"

Diana cried as Changeling grabbed his older children and vanished.

"That well?"

"Yeah."

Apollo pointed to his grandmother.

Raven gave him a look. "Stop."

He pouted behind his pacifier.

Artemis held her hands out for her grandfather.

J'onn picked her up. "Hello, little one."

She took her binky out and threw it at him.

He caught it and pinched her cheek.

She gave him a three toothed smile.

He smiled back.

Diana felt warm and somehow the next contraction didn't hurt as much.

Diana couldn't feel any more contractions but that epidural was a different type of scary. And it hurt! But at least she didn't feel pain now.

"I think you're finally ready." Diana's doctor called out.

Diana blew out a breath. "Finally!"

Changeling stood up. "Come on, guys."

"I wanna see!" Charlotte refused to move.

"Charlotte." Raven eyed her.

Charlotte began stomping her feet.

"Charlie?" Changeling was shocked. Charlotte didn't have tantrums.

Charlotte began screaming and crying.

J'onn picked her up and soothed her. "I will sit with you."

Diana turned to him. "No, you're not."

He blinked at her rough command. "Diana?"

"You're holding my hand through this!"

He was appalled at her dark muttering. "I-"

"Will be holding my hand through this."

He was terrified of her.

Changeling plucked Charlotte from his arms and hightailed it out with his three other children.

Raven was a bit afraid of her mother herself.

The doctor returned with her nurses. "Let's do this!"

Raven blinked as her father fainted again.

J'onn hit the floor like it would hit back.

Diana rolled her eyes. Men.

The doctor smirked. "Sister? Would you like to cut the cord?"

Raven went to cut the cord as it seemed like J'onn would not be waking up any time soon.

The baby was a pale green with black tufts of curls. The infant was chubby and a bit long as it screamed.

Diana was able to hold the baby to her chest to get it to calm down but as they rubbed the mucus and blood and other unsavory liquids from the body, the baby mewled, quieting.

Raven smiled widely. "It's a girl."

Changeling walked into the room with his four children. "Do we have a new baby?"

Diana smiled at him. "Come see."

The five came to the bed.

Apollo shrieked.

Sebastian laughed.

Charlotte pointed to her grandmother's arms. "Is that my new sister?"

"No, honey." Diana swayed gently. "This is your new aunt."

"Aunt." Charlotte's eyes widened.

Raven smiled at her daughter being in awe. "Yes. This is your aunt."

"What's her name?"

"Hannah Lily Jones." Diana spoke softly.

Charlotte gasped. "Pretty!"

Diana thought she was so precious.

So did Raven.
