Fast Forward to "The Date"

Fuck. He's gonna be late. He's gonna ditch me because he hates me and nobody loves meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

*Doorbell Rings*

Oh Shit. Finn thought to himself. He rang the doorbell of doom. Now I have to kill him. But maybe, I could let him live a bit longer?

"Hey, Finn? You coming?" Oliver hollered from behind the door.

"He will be later tonightttttttttt" Finn's roommate, Albert, shouted across the house.

"Fuck! No, A! I mean maybe, but SHUT UP!" Finn frantically hollered to Albert's bedroom.

He ran down the stairs, threw open the door, and saw a very dapper Oliver waiting for him, a bouquet clutched in his hand. Finn instinctively looked down at his outfit, was satisfied with it, and walked out the door with Oliver.

*Fast forward to the restaurant*

Finn looked over at Oliver. Their food had arrived a few minutes ago, but they were now sitting in somewhat of an awkward silence. Finn decided to try to break it.

"You wanna hear a funny Harry Potter joke?"

"Sure, I'd love to," Oliver replied quirking an eyebrow.

"Ok. Um, well it's not so much of a joke as it is a spell I guess? Also, I stole it from a book." Finn spewed. Shit, I really need a filter, he silently pondered.

"Oh, well I also have a joke for you. After you finish with yours, of course."

"Ok, here goes," Finn took a deep breath, "Um, ok, so the spell was, um, Erectus Penis" he finished blushing profusely.

"Ooh. I think I like that spell. Maybe I'll even use it some time," Oliver said, suppressing a laugh as he watched Finn struggle not to spit out his water.

"Anyway, here's my joke. What's the difference between a whore and a mosquito?"

"...um, I don't know? I'm kind of scared to hear the answer."

"Don't be. It's fine. The difference is that one stops blowing when you hit it. The other doesn't."

Finn's water sprayed across the table hitting Oliver as it came out of his nose, and his mouth. Oh no. I didn't just get him wet (and not in a good way) on the first date, did I?

"Hey, trust me your surprisingly not the first date that has done that to me," Oliver reassured.

"Oh, well I'm still sorry. Can I make it up to you?" Finn asked.

"Sure. I'd love to see your house. I heard it was quite close to here." Oliver teased. Finn could barely conceal his joy.

"Um, sure. I'd love to." He said, smiling.
