Zhao Jue never dreamed that the revenge he had planned for more than ten years would have such an unbearable ending.

"But you also told me that what the eyes see is not necessarily true, only what the heart comprehends is true."

After the gunshots sounded. Bai Ye, who had been lurking all along, rushed in immediately and guarded Zhao Jue. He didn't put down the gun until he's sure that there's no one left "He..."

"Dead... I killed him..." Zhao Jue's flat tone made Bai Ye feel strange and distressed "If I hadn't forced him to speak the truth, he wouldn't have died..." He grabbed the clothes on Bai Ye's chest "Why do I have to force him..." He murmured "Bai Ye, he is my last relative..."

Bai Ye stretched out his arms and pull Zhao Jue into his arms, he comfortably stroked Zhao Jue's trembling back, over and over again, tirelessly saying "You still have me... Zhao Jue, you still have me. I will not leave you. I will always protect you... I will help you find the truth, I will not let him, and not let them sacrifice in vain... Zhao Jue, trust me..."
