When Omru left, Shivaay looked at Annika. She was smiling which was unlike the way he had seen her earlier. She stopped laughing when she noticed Shivaay's sharp gaze on her.

"Those two introduced their whole family to me"

"It is yours too", Annika interrupted him.

"Yeah, but in this whole, big family, I don't have anyone to call my own", Shivaay said under his breath.

"Who said so?" Shivaay snapped his head up listening to her. She felt like laughing seeing his expression. She knew he would be thinking, how did she understand what he was thinking.

"Close your mouth, a fly will enter", Annika joked seeing Shivaay's open mouth.

He did and kept looking at her.

"Who are you and how do I know you?"

Shivaay saw a look of pain go through her face but she quickly adjusted her facial expressions. So, Shivaay quickly rephrased his question.

"Sorry for being so direct. I meant to ask, that when I saw you first you were crying bitterly and now you seem to be in a good mood? Mind telling me the reason"

And that smile was back on her face.

She forwarded her hand to him. "You said that you didn't have a small family of your own in the big family right? Well, meet me, your wife, Annika Shivaay Singh Oberoi"

Annika chose to include his name behind her just because she wanted to.

"Ohh hello, wife", Shivaay nodded casually but then immediately snapped. " Wife? You are my wife? I mean how? When? Where?"

Listening to him, a tear escaped her eyes. Her mind knew the truth but her heart was continuously refusing to believe the harsh reality. She couldn't bear the fact that her husband who loved her beyond the world now didn't even remember her name. Suddenly, she heard the snap of fingers.

"Hey, you zoned out. Again sorry if I said something wrong. Actually that was quite a shock for me", Shivaay said honestly and she nodded with a smile.

"Still can't believe that I am your wife?"

"Ohh no no. I do. And the way you were crying earlier and the manner in which you have a certain sense of satisfaction now, I do believe you are my wife", Shivaay chuckled.

"Well, I do have more proofs", she said and showed him her hand.

"This is my wedding ring, here is my mangalsutra and my sindoor"

"I get it. I do believe you are my wife. Stop proving yourself. I feel bad when you do this. My memories have gone but you remember everything. I don't want you to go through this, please"

Annika smiled as she realized a person's innate nature never changes. Shivaay still cares for her, is concerned for her, even though unknowingly.

"I have one more shock for you, it is a sweet one though"

Shivaay widened his eyes at Annika's words. She took out her phone and showed him a picture. He was surprised to see himself with a little girl.
