I never should've trusted him. I told myself, as I was wandering trough topside.
It was dark and freezing night, and the only lights were from the flickering street lamps. the only thing in Piltover that isn't perfect.
You furiously walk around. You were never allowed to go outside without being accompanied by your mothers bodyguards. You were from a whealty family, meaning people were hunting you down for randsom were ever you went.
You had zero free space. You were never allowed to go outside and have enjoy yourself like all the others. You hated referring yourself as different.
As you walk around, your head still raging. You managed to find yourself in a dark alley. You take a deep breath, you should probably head back. You told yourself.
But before you fully turned around you heard a suspicious noice in the dark alleyway.
You quickly turn your head towards it. You heard a muffled conversation. who is up this late?
You curiously stare at the alley for a few seconds before gathering enough confidence to investigate.
When you walked in you could hear your own footsteps roaming trough the halls. Eventually you noticed a few people at the end of the alley.
A man, begging for his life on the ground and two others that were threatening him. You froze when you heard a muffled gunshot in front of you. You gasped loudly, and regret washed over you instantly.
The two heads from the strangers sharply turned to you. You swallowed as one of the men said. "Shit. she saw us boss."
The second man slowly walked towards me. his long leather coat forming his silhouette as a tall thin mysterious man.
I was shaking but couldn't move. My feet were nailed to the concrete street. I started breathing heavily as tears started to form.
When the man was in front of me he looked down on me, a lustful stare stroking trough your body. He was dangerously tall in comparison with you.
I whimpered loudly as I now could see the scarred half of the mans face. That's when your adraline started to kick in. The man was smothered in blood and you knew that if you stay you would be dead. You quickly turn around and ran out of the alley as fas as possible
I could hear footsteps behind me as I tried finding my way out. But I was so scared and disoriented that I walked into an dead end. When I turned around to run back you ran directly into the mysterious mans chest.
You fell the the ground. You groaned in pain and crawled back to the wall, your back being glued against it. You were crying and sobbing until he crouched to your level.
"Your fast for a Topsider." the mysterious man exclaimed. You started sobbing and softly said with a trembling voice. "I'm sorry, please don't kill me." you felt the lump in your throat growing and you were so close to just bursting into inconsistent crying.
The mysterious mans expression remained emotionless as he proceeded "aren't you a fragile little thing"
Your heart skipped a beat when these words flew out of his mouth. You swallowed once more when facing him. "please let me go." I then said, falling over my words and trying to pick myself up. "You know I can't do that." fear and regret washed over my body. "You saw my face, you saw the murder."
He said, not breaking eye contact. "I-i promise not to tell anyone I swear." He slightly grinned. Then he moved his hand towards my face, I flinched and closed my eyes.
He touched my cheek, his large textured hand connecting with your soft skin, you once again whimper loudly as you felt his cold touch.
"assassinating you would also be a waste, wouldn't it" He said while examining you. you were clenching your teeth, trying to brace yourself for what might happen next.
He grabbed both your hands and roughly tightened them with a textured rough rope. You let out a loud groan when he tightened them. He also did this with your legs.
You could feel his textured hand colliding with your bare legs as he tightened the ropes.
That's when he gracefully picked you up. Your body was tense and you tried to process what was happening.
He was surprisingly strong for such a thin looking figure. That's when he carefully placed a blindfold on your eye's. You were still crying and all you could do was cry.
That's when he forced your head onto his chest. A smell of alcohol and illegal substances eating trough your nerves. Somehow this smell made you feel comfortable. You took a deep breath as you tried to figure out what this cologne reminded you of.
You stopped balling your eyes out. That's when you heard another voice that snapped you back to reality. "she is alive?" the voice exclaimed. the mysterious man didn't reply. There was an threatening silence, then again you heard the same muffled gunshot, but this time louder than before. You felt spatters come on your body.
You were about to scream but the mysterious man said roughly "scream and I won't hesitate to end your pathetic life as well."
