Hey guys! This was my idea, so here goes:
Basically I want you to choose one of the below animals:
Dragon,
Unicorn,
Dolphin,
Sheep,
Lion,
Dog,
And write a poem about it. It can be in any tense, any person, any style, but it has to be written by you. It doesn't have to rhyme. Below are some ideas but YOU DONT HAVE TO USE THEM.
Haiku
Acrostic Poem,
Simple four line to a verse poem,
Hourglass Poem (or vice versa)

Lots if people haven't heard of some, so...
Example of a haiku:
The dragons fire glows,
Glows in the sunset tonight,
The dragons fire glows
(That was really bad, sorry, it's late and I'm not thinking that good.)
Example of an acrostic poem:
Dark and mysterious,
Rampaging wild,
Across the kingdoms,
Getting the treasure it wants from the chest and galloping
Off with it in his scaly back, it back, back from the dead, the
Nausea stink drifting from its nostrils,
Example of a simple four line per verse poem:
The dragon spoke to me today,
Or should I say it roared,
At least it cheered me up today,
I was feeling kinda bored,

The dragon picked me up today,
Then I felt sorta scared,
But I wasn't really scared today,
Just he caught me unawares,

The dragon flew with me today,
He took me to his cave,
But still I wasn't scared today,
I'm feeling very brave,

The dragon opened up his jaws,
It gave me quite a fright,
So I leapt back onto my sweet horse,
And galloped into the light,

Momma says my imagination is too wild,
Only me and you know,
What happened to me in that day,
The day the dragon flew low,
That was alright until the last verse I guess.
Example of an hourglass poem:
My cousin told me a story one day,
Of how he took his wagon,
And went off on a simple ride,
Where he met a dragon,

It sat on his head, was about to swallow him whole,
But he plunged his sword into its butt,
Chopped of his head, and put it in his sandwich bowl.

My cousin told me a story one day,
Of how he took his wagon,
And went off on a simple ride,
Where he met a dragon,

Okay, the closing date is tomorrow midday, so call it twenty six hours.
GOOD LUCK
