As a week passed on the field, the captain felt like it was an eternity, as he was left alone with his thoughts.
Those two men he talked to prior to departing towards the village are now gone.
As the Captain was alone with his thoughts, Lieutenant Alora carefully entered a tent and stood in silence as she waited for him to notice her.
"Take a seat Lieutenant" said the captain without even turning around,
"How did you know it was me, sir?" asked the Lieutenant,
Captain smirked and looked back "Because i can smell your cheap ass perfume from a mile away, Alora".
The Lieutenant giggled and sat on the ammunition box that served as a chair in Captain's tent,
"Any other plans, sir?" asked the Lieutenant raising her brow "or are we heading back".
"We are heading North-east towards the Austrian alps, we'll push towards the village of Nauders, we were informed that there is a decent Armored force preparing for a push towards the Löwensdorf",
"I assume that would be a decent advance forward, sir" said the Lieutenant.
The captain stood up and walked over to the Lieutenant and sighed before resting his hand on her shoulder, slowly turning around walking over to the table where he had his map
"Get the tankers ready for the advance, we'll be departing shortly" said the captain looking at the map riddled with the red lines indicating the advance of brave Hellerian Armored Units.
The hours passed and the tankers were on a move in a neatly formed column of Jaguars and Panzer IVs, grinding over italian mountainous roads and village dirt paths, with the engines of their steel goliaths roaring throughout the path they followed.
The Captain looked up as dozens of Air Corps planes flew overhead, formed in an orderly arrowhead formation, breaking through the sound barrier as their planes roared above the tall alpine mountains.
Lieutenant Sigrid turned on the radio and spoke out, breaking the radio silence, "Lead 4, any idea of the distance between us and them?".
"Hopefully in the city they were reported in by scouts of 1st Commando, but they could've moved" said the Captain with the worried tone in his voice.
As they were exchanging radio chatter, the loud noise was heard from the radio and blocker their radio transitions for an important broadcast.
"Tankers of 3rd, This is Major Charles, Report safely to the city of Nauders, the hostile tanks moved...east,unfortunately, out.",
Captain opened his hatch and looked out and then into a clear sky, with no cloud in sight to obstruct his view.
"What is so bad about that east, sir" said Lieutenant Alora over the radio,
The Captain sighed and picked up the radio, carefully saying so they don't miss it out "well, tankers, good luck" said the Captain "We are going to the Alpine Valley".[End of Chapter III]
