Chapter 1

Nora's Pov

-Flashback-

I woke up, got out of bed, put on my slippers and went out.

I just went out to get breakfast but my
mom wanted the mail.

I decided to be a good daughter for once and get it for her.

I went to the mailbox and looked through the mail.

"Boring...boring...bills...and more bills"

Then I saw it. A letter from Ehwa Women's University.

I felt as if my heart had stopped.

I was very scared so I slowly opened it.

I opened it and it read....

"Dear Nora, It is a great pleasure for me to inform you that you have been selected to receive Ehwa Women's University Excellence Scholarship."

I immediately screamed and ran inside to call me best friend Heather.

"Oh my gosh Heather guess what!"

"Did you get the letter from Ehwa too?"she asked.

"Omg did you get the scholarship?"

"You tell me first!" she said.

"No, you first"

"You're the one who called me" she said.

"True...Okay YESSS OMG!! I'm so happy right now!"

"Oh then looks like we're heading to Korea!" she said.

"OMG YAY...this is really a dream come true!"

"Looks like we should start learning Korean huh" she said.

-Next Week-

It was finally the day I've been waiting for.

The day me and my best friend Heather fly to Korea.

I was in my drive way putting my suitcase in the car.

My parents are going to drive me to the airport but they are taking forever.

"Mom, dad, can you please just hurry up"

"No wait we need a picture of you before you leave" they said.

"No just please stop and let's go"

"Okay fine lets go" my dad said.

I was going to meet up with Heather at the airport so I didn't want to be late.

"Hey we're here wake up" my mom said.

"I thought you said the airport was close. That took forever!"

"Yeah we kinda got lot" said my dad.

"Omg okay that doesn't matter...I'm here already"

I texted Heather and asked where she was.

"I'm at the door waiting for you" she texted.

I said goodbye to my parents and went with Heather.

"Let's go!" she said.

"Okay let's go!!"
