"Hello, Jimin?!"
"Sorry I'm not Jimin, I'm a doctor at XXX hospital, this phone has only one contact and we needed information."
"Hospital, is Jimin in hospital!"
"I'm afraid so, er although this is a small town I recognise the patient, Erm is there a reason he's been hiding out here, I didn't want to ring your company in case it caused trouble, er who exactly am I talking to?"
"I'm Jungkook, Jimins.....partner,"
"Oh,ok look he's obviously not been looking after himself, the owner of the apartment he was in got worried when she hadn't seen him, she had spare keys and let herself in, he was passed out on the floor but had banged his head when he fell, he's not been eating well if at all but with care he can go home in a day or two."
"Thank you so much I will be there as soon as possible."
Jungkook yelled for the others who came running in at his excited voice," we have him!!!"
He explained everything which made RM get onto management to arrange transport for all of them, after grabbing spare clothes they rushed downstairs to two vehicles anxious to be on their way.
On arrival at the small town hospital they found the doctor Jungkook had spoken to, he said he wasn't sure if the bang to Jimins head had caused any damage but that a scan hadn't shown anything wrong. He walked them into Jimins room, watching the small males reaction.
"Jimin!!!" Jungkook rushed to him the small boy seemed surprised then smiled.
"Kookie, why do you look so sad?"
"Jimin I've missed you,"
"Aw you funny bunny, have I been away long? And why am I here?"
Jungkook stood back frowning, Jimin seemed....different.
"Jimin you don't remember why your here?"
"It's probably the beach right? I know I love the beach, a sweet old lady brought my case here, she said I'd been staying somewhere she owned but thought I might be going back, did I come on my own, how come you lot let me loose,"he giggled," or have I got a boyfriend that I came with?"
They all looked shocked,especially Jungkook, who turned to the doctor , who frowned as he stepped forward.
"Jimin do you remember their names,"
"Of course , RM,Jin,Suga,Hobi,Tae and Kookie my band mates."
"And a boyfriend ?"
"Why haven't I got one then? I feel like I have someone?"
Jungkook turned away so Jimin wouldn't see his tears.
"Er I'm just gonna get some snacks, Kookie come with me," Suga said, pulling Jungkook out the doctor following.
"Why,why can't he remember us as partners?"
"Well, the scan showed no permanent damage, it could be his brain is deliberately blocking something, has he had any stress or something that he didn't like happen to him recently, he's getting over a fever and the old lady said he had a cough that and his lack of self care wouldn't do it but if he has something bad he doesn't want to remember he could be blocking it as a survival instinct."
Jungkook knew what he was trying to block and felt consumed with guilt .
"So what should we do should we push it tell him things or wait for him to remember?" Suga asked.
"Don't push it, he will hold onto whatever it is if he feels pressured."
Jungkook hung his head, Jimin couldn't remember them, he knew them but not as a couple .
"Come on Kook we better get some snacks like we promised ."
When they returned to the room they saw Jimin laughing at something Tae said.
"Hey you two you've been gone ages what snacks did you bring or did Kookie eat most of them before you got back," Jimin smiled at Jungkook who returned the smile hesitatingly.
After another half hour RM said they would be leaving all except Jungkook.
"Aw Kookie looks like you got to babysit me, sorry"
"The other car will bring you two back tomorrow, the doctor said you can rest up at the dorm Jimin, see you tomorrow , bye," he patted Jungkooks shoulder in the way out.
Jimins smike dropped a little after they left.
"I'm sorry Kookie, I know your probably not keen to be around me, I have tried to back off a bit."
Jungkook realised Jimin was thinking off years ago when they both tip toed round each other.
"Hey Jimin did you forget that we are....best friends we sorted ourselves out."
"We did? Great ! I'm sorry I don't remember that."
"We are so friendly the fans ship us as Jikook,"
"They do ! That's funny!" He giggled .
The pair decided to watch tv. Soon they were laughing at a comedy.
"Kook you can sit on the bed with me if you want that chair looks uncomfortable "
Jungkook wasted no time hopping up beside Jimin who unconciously leaned against him, before long the only sound was the tv as the two males fell asleep for the first time in weeks finding comfort in each other .
It was late when the doctor returned to the room seeing Jungkook holding onto Jimin who was nestled against him, a nurse bustled in but the doctor shook his head putting a finger to his lips, the nurse smiled then carefully placed a blanket over the two sleeping males turned off the TV and the pair left the room.
It was seven am Jimin woke up only to be faced with a broad chest and arms hugging him, he looked up and saw the sleeping maknae above him taking a minute to admire him before scolding himself and telling himself to behave,"kookie....?"
"Mmmmm,"
"Kookie wake up,"
"Mmm, morning baby,"Jungkook kissed his husbands forehead.
"JUNGKOOK WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!"
With a start Jungkook woke up properly seeing Jimin's shocked face, he mentally shook himself,
"Sorry Jimin er dream,"
Jimin giggled," you perve what were you dreaming of?"
"Ha,ha can't remember,"
"Why are you on my bed?oh yer we were watching tv we must have fallen asleep...., hah look at us you must have been scared of falling off the bed is that why your holding onto me?"
"Ooops caught me!"
Jungkook rapidly got off the bed," Do you mind if I use your shower?"
"Sure go ahead,"
Jungkook rushed into the bathroom quickly showering, once washed he stepped to the sink to clean his teeth realising his toothbrush was in his rucksack along with a change of clothes , without thinking he walked into the room with just a towel slung low on his hips, he heard a sudden gasp and turning saw Jimin staring at him with lustful eyes before realising he was staring and he turned his face away. Smirking to himself he went back into the bathroom , so Jimin you may have lost some of your memory but you still want me like you always have.
Jimin gulped he can't believe he was staring so hard at the others fine body, a curl of pleasure building inside him, he justified himself reminding himself that Jungkook was his big crush always had been but he had to put his feelings on a back burner so he didn't embarrass the other .
When Jungkook came out Jimin slowly walked to the bathroom taking clothes with him.
While he was there Jungkook quickly rang RM.
"Hey Kook, is Jimin ok?"
"Yer, he's un the shower look much as I hate it when we get back Jimin will expect to be in his old room can you guys take his clothes and bits in there, I want him with me but I have to play fair as the doctor said."
"Good thinking Kook we will do that right away."
"Ok see you later,"
Jimin stepped into the room looking weary.
"Wow I feel like I've run a marathon!"
"You caught a fever, it's worn you out."
A knock announced a nurse pushing a trolley with breakfast on enough for Jungkook as well .
They ate up hungrily Jungkook pleased that Jimin was eating as well.
Jimin yawned just as the doctor walked in.
"Well Jimin I'm absolutely sure your fragmented memories will return if you feel any different or in pain for no reason go straight to your nearest hospital, you are now discharged someone from your group sorted all the paperwork yesterday, so you can leave when your ready."
They both thanked the doctor then rang for the car and made their way down.
They had only been on the road for fifteen minutes when Jungkook felt Jimins head loll on his shoulder
He carefully rearranged them so Jimin was leaning in a comfortable way then he sneaked his hand into Jimins where it stayed for the remainder of the journey.
