tapping her foot on the ground nervously, kim minji unlocked her phone and opened her gallery
she clicked on an album named ' loml ' and scrolled trough the photos
i'm really sorry...
she checked the hour, growing more nervous as the second pass
"miss, here is the patient yang jungwon. he was getting medications so i had to wait" his personal nurse told her whilst stopping the wheelchair in front of her smiling
minji nodded and smiled, sliding her phone inside her bag and setting it aside
"minmin, why you asked to see me?" yang jungwon, her boyfriend, asked her as he fixed his hoodie
"i know at this hour you had medications but this is really important.." she played with her fingers nervously, not having the guts to face him
"yeah?"
"i.. i think it's better if we break up"
"what?" jungwon looked at his girlfriend with a confused expression, tears making their way to his cat-like eyes
"it's better if we stop seeing eachother" the girl gulped and finally faced him
"but why...?"
"am i burdening you?"
jungwon is sick. he had a really big brain injury that caused him to be paralyzed from his waist and lower. he was the victim of a car accident during his sixteenth birthday, and since then he couldn't use his legs again
he met minji two months before and they eventually started dating. he's so madly in love with her, that he never noticed that she's unfaithful to him
minji is a person that can't be loyal to anyone. she's seeing other guys now, and she got tired of taking care of jungwon all the time
she stayed quiet and just looked down. she was too guilty to say yes
jungwon is such a sweet and kind boy, what did he do wrong?
wasn't he always the best boyfriend? didn't he made her feel loved all the time? he can't help but think it's his fault if this is happening
"so it's a yes.." the cat-like boy smiled sadly as he looked at the sky, tears rolling on his cheeks
"i'm sorry jungwon.." minji took her bag and swung it over her shoulder, walking away from the hospital's garden, leaving him alone

"i wonder what i did to deserve all of this.." the yang wiped his tears away and began making his way back inside his hospital, pressing the elevator's button and heading to his room
as soon as he closed the door tears started falling down his cheeks once again. she was the only one he had left
he rolled the wheels of his wheelchair until he reached the window and just cried, after all his heart was broken
*knock knock!*
a knock on his door made him immediately wipe his tears with the sleeve of his hoodie
"jungwon..?" his friend peeked on the door "can i come in?" won turned around and smiled
"of course hyeji" nam hyeji walked inside with a smile and sat on his bed, facing him
"are you ok? your eyes are red" that was it. he couldn't hold it in any longer
jungwon bursted in tears in front of her, buring his face in his hands
"my— my girlfriend broke up with me because i'm on a wheelchair.." hyeji bit her lip and pulled his wheelchair closer "i'm sorry"
she hugged him, trying her best to comfort him "she's missing out on something really good. i mean look at you, you're the sweetest person i've ever met and you face so many problems"
jungwon felt strange. he felt like he was on a cloud nine. what was this feeling?
minji never did this type of skinship with him
he was feeling butterflies because of his best friend?
