"Father. Sir Laxus Dryer is here." I say and my father nods. I stand up straight and walk to stand in the middle of the table so when needed, I can be of service to both my father and our guests.

Laxus'POV
I watch as Lucy now is standing in the middle of the long table. "Why isn't she sitting down?" I think to myself but don't think too much about it. "Ahh. Laxus Dryer. I'm glad you can make it " Jude Heartfilia says as he stands up from his spot at the table and makes his way towards me. Once he gets a few feet away from me, he outstretched his arm out to me for a hand shake. "Let's get down to business." He says seriously. I smirk as I take is hand and give him a firm handshake. "Yes. Let's!" I say and we both sit down at both ends of the table. I look around the room and I notice maids and butlers standing alongside the room walls with their heads down and hands either behind them or in front of them. I look at Lucy and notice she is still standing in the same spot she stood in once Jude came up to me but she has her hands in front of her and her eyes are glued to the wall ahead of her. "Would you like anything to drink or to snack on? I'm sure this gamble will be one to remember and I would like you to be as comfortable as possible through the very end." Jude Heartfilia says and I grunt. "A glass of beer will be fine." I say and he nods. Snapping his fingers I see Lucy flinch. This made me confused and a flash of anger ran through me but it quickly disappeared. "A glass of our finest beer and a glass of red rosavelt wine." He says not looking at her. She quickly nods and bows before scurrying off to what I'm assuming is to go get the order. My eye visibly twitched. "He treats his daughter like a comment n maid?" I think to myself but put that thought in the back of my mind. Seeing lucy come back I smile and thank her as she puts my glass of beer down in front of me only to simply get a nod. I frown at this and watch her give Jude's glass of wine to him and return back to her original spot. I find this slightly annoying and for some reason it's making my blood boil over so I decide to say something. "So Jude. I see you have your eldest child and only daughter present. Is there a reason being?" I asked with my eyes glued onto her. I see her tense up but she does not break eye contact with the wall. "Ahh. Yes. I just chose to have my daughter witness her father's win In the most important gamble with a really important person." Jude Heartfilia says while smiling from eat to ear. I grunt knowing there's most likely more to this but just nod not really wanting to get too deep into it. I them bring up another matter. "So jude. Do you have a game you'd like to play and your first bidding amount?" I ask now smirking knowing this old fool likes to bid high right from the start. Jude's eyes sparkle as I mention this and he claps his hands together. "Now that you've mentioned it, yes I do! We have a game made and ran by the family. It's called The Celestials. My daughter designed it actually. The luck of the game is a slim chance on both sides but that's the fun in it. my dear lucy, can you go teach him the rules of the game before we start?" He finished with a question looking at her from the side of his eyes. I see Lucy flinch and my anger boils but I quickly calm down not wanting to make a scene. Lucy turns to me and begins to walk towards me. Her face emotionless but her eyes fearful. She came over and explained it to me. "So basically a marble is thrown into a pit with slots. Each slot has a single zodiac sign. You HAVE to pick your own zodiac sign and your rising sun. Then your able to pick another zodiac of your own choice. If the marble lands on either of the zodiacs you hold then you win that round. There are 3 rounds in each set. Whoever wins more rounds wins. You can either decide to keep playing or cut the game. Sounds easy enough." I think to myself. "Do you understand?" Lucy asks and I simply nod. Lucy nods and walks back to stand in the middle of the room. "Great! Now that my dear daughter has informed you about the structure of the game and it's rules, let's begin. My first gamble amount will be $50,000,000" Jude Heartfilia says and I smirk. "Sounds good Jude Heartfilia." I say and we begin to play.
