I can't believe my nephew is still missing! There's got to be a place where he is! Phillip's a fighter he's got to still be alive!

I turned off the engine of my new car, bought with the money I earned working. That was the only reason I worked there in the first place, not because I was curious about what happened to Gerald. Lily must have seen me out the window, because before I even got out of the car, she ran up to me with her arms wide, wanting a hug. She gave me a tight squeeze. "Lily! Get off!" I struggled to get out. Lily released me. "Any news?" She asked.

"Nope." Was my reply. Her grin turned around. We both walked into the house. I looked around, it seemed like yesterday that the whole family lived in this house, now it's only Lily. And Scamp. That dog barked at me as soon as I walked in. That lab does my head in. "Scamp is just excited." Lily told me. She obviously saw me nervously backing away from that thing. "We never really get guests anymore, not since Gerald died. It was always him that was social. All his friends would come over, never mine. The only friends I've got left are Scamp, Mandy and you."

Mandy? Who was she? I never got told about her...

Lily saw the confused expression on me. "Mandy, next-door. You know, the Herrings family." Ah, right, Mandy Herrings, the woman that still lives with her parents. I'm younger than her, and I moved out 2 years ago.

I walked through to the kitchen. "I'll put the kettle on while you put your feet up, Lils, you've been under so much pressure." I wasn't  expecting a reply. "Putting my feet up is all I have been doing. Police pop over now and again, and I do work from home. Without a son or a husband to care for, I haven't been able to do much."

That explained a lot, the washing machine was usually rumbling, but it was muted. The sides were usually full of cups, but it was now empty. Even the floor was spotless. I looked through the stainless window. The garden was neat, Phillip's BMX was nowhere to be seen, neither was his scooter.

"Lils, where is Phillip's BMX and Scooter?" I asked.

"Oh, the scooter should be in the shed, but his bike, uh, I think he might have used it to run away. It was nowhere to be seen when I cleared up the garden."

"Um..Okay, so. I see you've been busy."

"Not busy enough" She called from the hall.

Then all that was left was silence. Then I rememebered seeing something Friday.

I parked my Motorbike behind the Pizzeria's building. I park next to the dumpster, as it's the only spot left for security guards. I arrive the same time as always, 11:45. Just to speak to the manager, Vincent. That guy always wears a purple coat, it's really unusual. I could smell the left over cheese pizzas, and soda pops. I looked in there, like I always do to see if there's anything worth so much money in there, that isn't broken. I saw a Bonnie head, that could be used for a mask, and broken bits of BMX.

Just as I was about to speak, an enevelope popped through the letter box. "Lily, you better have been paying your bills" I joked.

"It's not a laughing matter, Mike, come, look at this."

I became more serious, and walked over to Lily. The whistle  on the kettle blew. Finally. My big sister stood there, tears were rolling down her cheek. I gulped, and peeked at the letter. I started crying wth her. My sobs were soft, considering I'm a male. It was a journal of what Phillip was doing last Monday.
