"Get well soon, Akaashi. We hope to see you in class again" Sakura said, waving a hand at us before she, Mei and Hisoka walked out of the door.

"You can go home, y'know? I can take care of myself now" Keiji stated, turning his head in my direction. I looked at him and scooted closer to rest my head on his shoulder.

"Nope~ I know your mom and she takes forever doing the grocery. Your dad is just there to push the cart" I hummed, softening my eyes as a little smile appeared on my face.

"Should we tell them already? They already started their leave at work until after new year" Keiji mumbled, placing an arm over my shoulder and gently landing his hand on my head to keep me close.

"Sure thing, everyone is starting to figure it out anyways" I sighed.

"How about your parents? When are they coming home?"

"Tomorrow night. Rin and Jiro are gonna pick them up at the airport. They're going to visit you first thing in the morning"

"But I'm getting discharged on saturday?"

"So? They love you more than making my favorite christmas snack during the holidays"

"Eh?"

Short recap, It's been exactly 11 days since Keiji was admitted to the hospital. The doctors said that usually by the 10th day the patient has fully recovered. However, Keiji was still complaining about some prickling pain so the doctors decided to keep him monitored longer. For now, they're hoping that by the 14th day Keiji will finally get better.

Keiji's parents really immediately barged in the hospital with their luggage in hand when they landed from their flight. Hana has been pulling all nighters just to be able to facetime with Keiji. The volleyball team visited 5 times already and Mitsuru, Ayano, and Hitomi paid a small visit one time. Mei, Sakura and Hisoka just had their 2nd visit to drop off more notes for Keiji. Here I am, picking Jiro up every after practice and bringing him to the hospital to visit Keiji.

"Do you wanna watch a-"

"(F/N)!! Akaashi!!" A voice yelled in the hallway. Me and Keiji were startled as to who it was, but seconds later we found Miyuki almost tripping on the floor just to perfectly stop in front of the doorway. Behind him was Nana and Keichi who jogged to catch up with him. "S-sorry for the interruption"

"Miyuki? What's up?" I asked, sitting up properly with a concerned expression. Miyuki panted for a while before walking lazily on a nearby chair while Nana and Keichi stood near him.

"The principal wants us to perform for the 3rd year's graduation ball" Miyuki said, still in between gasps for air. My eyes widened and I turned to look at Keiji who had a similar reaction.

"But why won't they let the music club do that? Plus, it's only November. Their graduation ball is always between March and April." I asked again.

"Most of the music club's members are 3rd years and they said they wanted to spend their time with their batchmates for their ball. If they let the 2nd and 1st year players perform, there wouldn't be enough people to play a band and work backstage" Nana explained, raising a finger after 1 statement and raising another finger for the 2nd statement.

"And the reason why the principal told us so early is because they want us to compose a song of our choice as long as the 3rd years will enjoy it," Keichi added, crossing her arms as her mood completely went downhill. Probably from the stress of the fact we have to write our own song.

"But none of us are experienced in making a song though"

"That's the part where I have to coordinate with the music club's remaining members. I can skip club meetings to discuss and arrange everything with them. My club doesn't care if I attend anyways as long as I pass my weekly output" Miyuki said, swinging his head back and covering his eyes with his arm.
