Chapter 11

" awesome! Thanks so much babe! What do you think about somewhere next week?" He said.
" That's pretty quick." I said.
" Yeah but why not?"
" I'll let you know, okay?"
" Sure. I have to go now. I have training. Maybe you'll be able to see the match? I have to play next sunday."
" yeah maybe. We'll see about that."
" Okay. Well, bye Lisa. See u soon."
" See ya."
I hang up. A lot of things were playing inside my head right now. I just didn't know I had made the right decision and by the way, I still had to tell Selena about it. I decided to call her because I also wanted to know how her "date" with Oscar was.

" LISAAAAA" she yelled in the phone.
" Hi Sel! Someone's happy!" I said laughing.
" haha yeah, well that's thanks to you!"
" Oh really? So I suppose your conversation with Oscar last night went well?"
" you guessed that right girl!"
" hahaha, well what about you coming to my house so you can tell me everything about it and I also have to ask you something important so yeah."
" ooooh, that makes me nervous!"
" haha. Well, just come over here!"

* a few minutes later *

The bell rang.
" heeeeeyyyy babe!! "
" heeeeey!!" I said.
" how are u and where were u last night? I've been looking for you. I even called you this morning. I was kinda worried."
" You don't need to worry about me. I was perfectly fine." I said with a smirk.
" okayyyy, so what happened?"
" Let's go upstairs."

" Come on! Tell me now!"
" how was Oscar?" I changed the subject.
" LISA!"
" okay, I'm sorry."
I told her the story that I went to Funky Buddha with Neymar and his teammates and that we had a lot of fun, that we were wasted as fuck and last but certainly not least that I kissed him.

" so, that was it."
Selena didn't know what to say. She just sat there on my bed staring at me.
" Stop staring at me!"
Then her face turned into a huge smile.
" congratulations baby! You did it! I told you that you were going to have a boyfriend and I knew that he would be interested in you. You kissed him. You fucking kissed him!"
" Yeah but I can't remember it!"
" Well I'm sure you guys are going to meet again soon! I bet you can't live without him and that u miss him soooo much already!"
" Don't exaggerate too much and that's why I invited you actually. Me and Neymar want to meet again. We called this morning and he asked me to come over to Barcelona."
" what?! That's amazing, Lis! Well, what are u waiting for?"
" It's not that easy, Sel! If I go to Barcelona on my own, I have to have a good reason to go there. Otherwise,my parents would ask questions, you know."
" And now you're asking me to come with you? Is that it?"
"kinda? If I say to my parents that I go to Barcelona with you just for fun then they would believe that more than that I go alone, right?"
" Yeah of course but you have to know that I'm going to miss Oscar so much."
" babe, it's not for long. At least 3 days I swear! Pleaseeee?"
" Of course I'm going with you! What did you think? My girl finally gets the chance to have a boyfriend. I don't want to miss that for the world."
" Thank you so much"
" you do love him, right?"
" I like him. I can't immediately say that I'm in love with him but he's a really nice guy but yeah whatever. I want to know how it was with Oscar. Tell me everything!"
" Well, at first we talked and got to know each other a bit and yeah after talking to him for quite a long time, I started to get comfortable around him and we laughed a lot and yeah we enjoyed each other's company I think. Well, at least I enjoyed it. And then all of a sudden he said that he really liked me and he asked me out on a date! I still don't know when it's going to take place because of his busy schedule but I do have a date with him! I'm sooooo happy and I can't thank you enough for dragging me towards him so I could have a conversation with him. Thank u so much bae!"
She hugged me.
" awwww, you're welcome girl! I knew he was going to like u. I know Oscar and I'm soooo happy for you. I'm really proud"
" I think we both found our true loves." She said.
I laughed a bit and thought about that.
She snapped me back to reality.
" Helloooo??"
" Yeah. I'm just not sure about that. He's famous you know so if they ever see me and Neymar in public. Pffff."
" 'they' as in Eden?"
" My whole family actually."
" Come on Lisa! Think about your own happiness! You have to be happy and the people around you should respect that and certainly your family. Maybe they will be shocked at first but they will respect your decision. I'm sure about that. Certainly your parents."
" yeah, my parents maybe but what about-"
" Eden?" She cut me off.
" yeah"
" Same. Maybe it will take some more time for him because he doesn't like Neymar but I guess the only thing he really wants is for his little sister to be happy."
" Thanks Sel. I guess you're right. I really don't wanna lose my brother but Neymar either. And if he really loves me, he needs to respect my decision."
" That's the spirit!"
" But I still don't tell him. Not now."
Selena sighed.
"Just don't wait to long or someone else will figure it out and will tell Eden or he figures it out himself."
I nodded.
" I know"
" I have an idea." Selena said.
" shoot."
" Oscar is your best friend, right?"
" Yeah, he is. Well actually, you're my best friend."
" Yeah but I mean like boy best friend. Your best friend from the team."
" well yeah he is."
"Well, why don't you tell him what's going on. He can keep a secret and then I'll be able to see Oscar again?" She said unsure.
" I don't think that's a good idea Sel. I know Oscar and he likes to tell big secrets to other people. He can't keep it quiet, believe me! "
" but why would he tell something like that to Eden. That would be really evil, wouldn't it?"
" Maybe he wouldn't tell Eden but maybe to the rest of the team. There's always someone who can't keep their mouth shut!"
" well, it was just a question because I'm actually sure that he will not tell anyone. He can give you good advice I think because he's a good friend of Neymar and also a good friend of Eden. I think Oscar knows how to handle with these things. I'm sure he will support you. Can you please try it? For me? Please please??
I sighed.
" I really don't know how he would react but I guess I will try it."
" YES! Thanks Lisa, you're amazing. Let's go!" She said really excited.
" What? You mean now?"
" yeah!"
" are u sure you are doing this for me or do you just want to see Oscar?"
She doubted. "Ummmm, both."
" unbelieveable!" I asked laughing.

* at the stadium *
" why do they even have to train again after they just played a match yesterday? Selena asked.
" Well, that's life." I answered.

We stepped on to the pitch where the guys were training. They weren't training hard. They were rather having fun on the field.

" Aaaah Lisa and friend!" The coach said.
" Hey coach! You sound happy" I said.
" Of course! We played an amazing game against Barca! I'm really proud of the guys! They did an amazing job. And the sun is shining. What does a man want more?"
" haha, I don't know."
" So, you come watch the training?"
" Yeah, I had nothing better to do so I thought why not go and watch the training of my favourite football club?"
" I think that's a really good idea but the guys aren't really fit today. They're messing around. I think they drank too much last night but I don't blame them for it. They deserved it. I think I'm stopping the training for today actually."
" Yeah, it doesn't really make sense."
" Indeed."
"GUYS! TRAINING IS OVER! GET SOME REST AND SEE THAT YOU'RE FIT FOR TOMORROW!" The coach said.
"Oscar is cominggg." I said to Selena teasing.
" have u actually kissed him already?" I asked.
" No, I would have definitely told you that if that had happened!"

" Heyyy sissy!" My brother said.
" Hey bro. How are ya?" I hugged him.
" Good and you?"
" Good."
" You're coming with me when I'm ready?"
" ummm, I'll see what Selena wants to do."
" Oh right, the love birds." He said.
I laughed. " well yeah"
The team went to the changing rooms except for Oscar.
Selena and Oscar were flirting with each other while I stood there awkwardly.
I coughed and they looked up.
" ooooh, hey Lisa." Oscar said.
" Hey, someone didn't know I was here."
" I'm sorry. I need to thank u actually for introducing me to your friend. She's really nice." He said.
I saw Selena blushing.
" you're welcome." I said.
" How are you actually? I haven't seen you anymore yesterday. Are u okay?" He asked a little worried.
" yeah of course I'm okay. I umm.."
I saw Selena looking at me with a
tell-him-now face.
" Yeah?" He asked.
I sighed heavily.
" I was at Funky Buddha where I met up with Neymar." I said slowly saying the last part on a whispering tone.
His eyes went wide.
" You met Neymar? Did I hear that good?"
"Yeah."
" How?"
" I just bumped into him after the game and we talked for a bit and he wanted to meet me again. I gave him my number and when we were at the bar he texted me saying if I wanted to come over and I said yes so yeah."
He laughed.
"What's so funny?"
" I just knew you liked him! You were too interested in him and it doesn't suprise me that he likes you back. You are what he's looking for in a girl. So are u dating him now?"
" Not really. The thing is that he wants to meet me again so we can have a proper date but he's in Barcelona now and he wants me to come over so I told Selena if she could come with me because otherwise my parents would ask questions. I'm actually still really scared of Eden's reaction, os" I said.
" Oh come on Lisa. Don't listen to him. It's your life. It's your happiness that counts. Eden has to understand your decision. If he doesn't, I will go and talk to him and say how Neymar really is."
" Thanks os"
" That's what friends are for" he said and hugged me.

" Well, then I guess I'll let him know when I will come"
"When do u want to leave?"
" I don't know, I thought about Wednesday or Thursday?"
" Sounds great." Oscar said.
" And if u arrive, say ' hi' from me."
" I will" I said.

" You are going to Barcelona?!" I heard a voice say.
" And who the hell are u meeting there?!"

I recognized that voice. It was Eden. Of course. How long has he been standing there?
I was just staring at him.
" Well?" He said impatient.
Shit.

This is more like a fill up chapter and it's not so long.
