Giyuu P.O.V:

OOF! owww... why am I here in the infinity castle ? Has a lower moon been defeated ? I could've sworn that we had grown stronger how could this be ...? who was it... it seems like everyone is here but something's off

It must be a random meeting nothing to worry about...I hope...

" Nakime ! why are we here ? And where is the lord..." 

I looked around Sabito asked that question , Nakime looked at us like Sabito had said something wrong but he was just trying to find out why we had been summoned . It seems like someone has gone missing we have Sabito (2) here , Makomo (4) , Rui ( 5 ) , Enmu (1 ),... Kanao(6)....?

" The lower moon number 6 has been slained by Shinobu Kocho..."

Nakime's answer left us in shock...Slained by her own sister ? How... did'nt Kanao's sister love her so much ? shinobu had refused to kill her for decades ! why now ?

Just a few moments ago we were establishing peace why would they kill a demon so low at a time like this..?...It makes no sense...Not at all...I need to ask her now!

" Why do such a meaningless attack now ? Shinobu and Kanao were close siblings why would Shinobu kill Kanao when she tried to establish peace ? "

just then I felt me legs wobble like jelly . I was suddenly trembling in fear as the ground shook rapidly . Sabito pulled me down and hugged me tight . I felt my stomach filling with butterflies as he kissed my forehead gently .

" Giyuu calm down it's just the lord nothing to be scared about ."

Sabito's gentle voice had soothed my anxiety and soon the lord appeared but he wasn't furious or mad his voice came out gently trying to ensure us nothing was wrong...

" My lower moons do you know why you have been summoned ? "

The lord's voice seemed like he was holding back tears of dissapointment or depression 

"Kanao went to a dangerous place where swordsmen battle to their death...but... Kanao did'nt make it past the first stage of swordsmen and got her neck sliced off and faded..."

We were all shocked to hear that but... it wasn't a surprise she would've died someway or another this world is confusing ,but we were born and created into this horrific mess and as demons ,our job is to slay, be slained, or live. It is not up to our liking and our lives were bad enough from the start ,some lost friends, family ,everything, or their humanity but noone has ever gained something and kept it forever...This thing we call living is just a punishment sent by god.A punishment deeply engraved in our hearts.

Huh.. the meeting is over ? Was I too busy zoning out... Before I could ask anything we were sent back to our land .Once we were in our human disguises. We started haunting for prey again .. But knowing this lost of our friend could leave a scar.. A surprising feeling I never felt before...Only when I was human.. Pain.
