Danny sighed, frosty air escaped his mouth into the cold December air. He sniffed his moist snot back into his crescent moon nose. He was back. He was home. Danny was in Nowt, an unheard town in Georgia that he grew up in. Sweet nostalgia consumed him as he drove through his childhood neighborhood. He recognized each and every house he zoomed past. Danny grinned, for he felt glad to get away from his high-paying job in New York that he had to leave everything behind for.
Finally, he arrived at his childhood home. Memories came flooding back, like time he first learned how to ride a bike... the first time he learned to tie his shoes... the first time he cried... the first time he laughed... the first time he lived. You may think the first time he lived was in a hospital but his mother gave birth to him in their basement.
Danny stepped out of his neon yellow car and slammed the door shut. The door to the house swung open and out came Danny's parents, Pokimane and Dream.
"Danny!" Pokimane exclaimed as body that was in perfect shape and condition despite being in her mid 50's power-walked towards her beloved son.
"Heya' there, sport!" Dream said as he drifted along behind Pokimane; unfortunately he hasn't aged as well as his wife.
"Mom, Dad!" Danny screamed as he ran towards them, the wind blowing in is silky brown hair. His deep ocean eyes began to flood with tears of joy as the three of them embraced in a hug. "I missed you both so much, you have no idea how rough my high-class financially stable life in New York has been."
"We've missed you too, kiddo... we've missed you too." Dream said through his crusty, circular mask that he wears for hours at a time.
