𝐊𝐈𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐌𝐎𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐃𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐍𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒 and looked in the mirror. as many dates the couple's been on, nervousness surged through their bodies. none of those dates were as fancy as this one, at least kieri thought so.
maybe it's because of the attire. the dresses, the appointments, who knows what's next?
ahjhai's parents gave him reassurance and encouragement, as they could tell that he was overthinking— he got it from his father. the unbearable anticipation of this date going wrong in any way possible was growing by the second.
ahjhai reminded aizawa about their date, and the chance of them being late for curfew. surprisingly, he was fine with it— as long as they're cautious and responsible.
"kiki, your dress is fine, stop smoothing it down." nia chuckled, the others in the group call agreed. after so long, kieri finally called her cousins. she decided on not calling her mother, since she figured she would be busy.
"no... no quiero arrugas en él." she mumbled, smoothing it down aggressively. "aw shit, she speaking spanish- that's how you know she nervous." kemora said, shaking her head. [ no... i don't want any wrinkles in it. ]
"honestly, i can't blame her. didn't she say this was they first fancy date? like a restaurant type date?" one of her cousins says, and she agreed. "por eso estoy nervioso." she whined. [ that's why i'm nervous. ]
encouraging and reassuring statements came from the girls, ultimately calming her racing heart. "just do that one breathing exercise you taught me." kemora suggested.
she took a few deep breaths, "okay... i'm fine." she closed her eyes, standing still. her eyes snapped back open once her phone vibrated.
she picked up her phone, ahjhai's contact name being the only notification. "he texted you, didn't he?" nia wiggled her eyebrows in the camera, only her eyes and forehead being visible.
kieri didn't answer, only staring at the screen. "well then, good luck on yo date- don't forget to use a condom." she held up a piece sign and hung up. all of her other cousins hang up too, as well as kemora leaving the room.
she checked to make sure her bags were packed. the only thing she knew was that it's a hotel and dinner, so they're spending the night there.
