Prologue

My Ear twitched, waking me up from my deep slumber. The sound of rustling filled my ears along with the soft crunching of the leaves, indicating that something-

I licked my fangs. An Inexplicable heady smell suddenly filled my lungs.

I inhaled the wonderful aroma. A rare fresh food.

Humans are a rare sight to see in the woods. Seems like they are smart enough to not dare to step here. Except for this one. It is brave-stupid rather.

I opened my eyes, the leaves of the tree from where I am laying swayed at its branches.

Now this is a great way to start my day

A tingling sensation wrapped around my body, waiting to be released. Finding a way to ease at least some of the feeling, I stretched my body along the branch of the massive tree.

I lifted my body with a sigh, crouching down. I scanned my surroundings. Rays of sunlight decorated the trees.

I can already envision it thrashing around my arms as I rip its flesh. Hopefully, it would not be a grimy or sickly one. The joy it would bring me when its eyes flicker one last time.

Oh this is going to be thrilling

Preparing to jump, I cracked my neck side to side as I grinned
