Chapter 4: The Explanation

All eyes we're on me, and though a normal human would squirm under such conditions. My human emotions have been sealed away. The only time I regained said emotions is the blood stain night of the full moon. Out of all the boys, the redhead that went by the name 'Ayato' was the first to speak.
"So you're another sacrificial bride cupcake." He said with a bored expression.

"No, I am not a sacrificial bride because... One, I cannot die, and Secondly, I am no longer human…" I said with an almost bland voice. This time Reiji spoke.

"It's impossible. We can die even though we are immortal beings." He said, crossing his arms across his chest as he arched an eyebrow. Looking at the others who also gave me a look of disbelief and humor.

"So you don't believe me...even though I have died before…" I said trailing off.

Thinking for a moment I decided to give them an example. Sniffing the air I smelt silver and old dried vampire blood on Yui. Gently removing 'Shu' from my lap and placing it on a pillow. I walked up to the petite blonde and stared down at her. She began to shiver in what seemed to be fear and anxiety.

"Give me the knife." I simply asked with a bit of voice magic. Her eyes dulled and nodded. As if she were a  marionette doll she slowly reached into her coat pulling out the knife. Laying it across her palm and offering it to me. I took the small silver knife in hand and examined it. It was a well made silver knife with a blue sapphire at the hilt. It glistened in the light of the room. I have to admit it is a beautiful knife. The boys eyed me curiously and cautiously as I stepped away from Yui and stood in the middle of the room. Yui, who had snapped out of the trance, looked confused at the fact the knife she had was now in my hand.

Admiring the blade for a few more moments before turning the blade around where the blade pointed against my chest. I grasped the hilt, aiming directly at my heart.

"Oi, what are you-" Subaru shouted as the knife plunged into my chest. A wicked smile graced my lips as the blood poured out onto the floor in a pull. I then began to fall backwards and landed in someone's arms instead of the floor. A long silence rang out before Yui screamed  in horror and I winced in annoyance. She's too damn loud. After a few seconds I slowly reached my hand around the hilt, ripping out the blade and handing it to 'Subaru' who was crouched down next to me. I guess he was going to pull it out for me, huh. I could taste my own blood in my mouth again and there was blood all over the top KarlHeinz bought me. Luckily it was black.  I could feel the tissue back slowly with every single second that passed. All of the boy's  eyes glowed a bright red hue as well as lust along with it. Hm, guess my blood smells tantalizing to them. Their faces still held unnerved shock to them as I stood up from the arms who caught me. Looking back at the person who was there was now back on the couch with a tiny bit of blood on his blue sweater. Turning back my attention to the others I glared.

"Do you still assume I am human, or do I need to prove it even more?" I snapped. No one answered, they just stared in silence.

"Good now that I am tired, and I will need to be escorted to my room." Stated bluntly. With no more questions or comments Reiji escorted me out of the living room to my new living quarters.

After being guided through the maze the hallway we arrived at a black door. Opening the door I saw the room decor was the same as the room in KarlHeinz mansion. Except that this one had a balcony attached to the room on the far side.

"Ms. Kiyo dinner will be available in half and it will be a week before you have to take an entrance exam for school. I do hope you are prepared for it." He said in a distasteful way.

"Thank you for informing me. There is also some information I need to give to you under no circumstances will you enter this room on nights of a full moon." I said sternly with a glare. To which he glared back at me with annoyance and anger at the fact that I just ordered him around. With that I shut the door and began inscribing the walls with silence spells and barrier runes. On the exception that I was only allowed in or out. Once finished I then began to chain clothes because of a massive rip on my shirt. I then stepped into the bathroom which was attached to my room.

I began to clean the blood off of my ivory like skin. The self infected wound was now healed but no scar remained other than the arrow mark remaining. A reminder that was sacrificed already. Placing another shirt on I then began to feel hungry but not for human food but for the deer roaming the woods. Walking to the balcony doors I began to strip off the c clothing one by one until the moon's light reflected off my ivory skin. I then let my primal instinct take over. Letting my body mold itself into the beast of legends.

I could feel my body get larger, wings sprouting from my back, my skin turning into red shimmering scales, a tail extending outward then finally my head and jaw becoming narrower with horns and fangs glittering in the pale moonlight. With a flap of my wings a gust whips around the room causing the balcony doors to burst open. Taking off into the sky, the air was crisp with gentle cold ripple across my scales. Looking around I saw  my prey with a single swoop. I snagged the young buck and brought it back to the property. I landed near the rose garden and began to feast. The sound of bones crunching must have been extremely loud because Subaru was now observing me as I finished devouring the deer. Ignoring him I then took off the balcony where I slowly reverted back to my original form.
