I couldn't stop looking at him. His body just lying there in the middle of the street. He looked lifeless, but at the same time looked like he was going jump up and run towards me.

That's really what I saw most of the time, because he's a football player. He gets hurt a lot, and usually just jumps right back up. But this wasn't a two hundred pound linebacker this time. This time he was going to stay down.

They took him in the ambulance, and asked if there was anyone who knew this boy, and if they wanted to come to the hospital. I ran right to the car and got in. The first thing I did was look at him, then I and grabbed his hand. That's all I could do at the time, but everything was still fuzzy.

We got to the hospital a little bit later, but it seemed like he was just slipping away as we got closer. They took him out of the ambulance, but I wouldn't let go of his hand.

I finally let go when we got to the emergency room. They wouldn't let me go past the doors. The emergency room, the thing that separates me from him. I just sat in the waiting room, I called my parents and told them where I was. I slept for awhile, about a few hours later, the doctor came out, and said I could see him, but before I could run into his room and see him, the doctor said that he was in a coma, and they didn't know when or if he was going to wake up. I went into his room, where I saw him just lying there, like he was sleeping. This was the first time I really noticed him. His dark brown hair, and the way it has just a little spike at the top of it, just made him look even more sexy. His 6'5ish sixteen year old body, with all the muscle he has, but the thing that made me want to go in a coma with him, was the fact of how dead he looks in the hospital gown, made me fall to my knees and cry. When I opened my eyes I heard his voice, calling out my name. I quickly looked at him, but we weren't in the hospital anymore, we were in our favorite place in the woods. We meet here about a year back, this was also the place where he asked me out to homecoming, and the place where we slowed danced, after homecoming. All those things flashing before me, as if I was living them again. He called my name again, then again. Everything went back to what it was and, it was just the doctor seeing if I was ok. I wasn't ok, but I answered yes, just so they worry about me.

I got up, to go back to the waiting room. When I got there my mom, dad, big bother Michael, and my best friend Hope were there, I couldn't help but smile. Before my parents could do anything, Hope ran up and hugged me, I needed that. I sat down to explain everything that happened. Michael left after a while, he had to go back to college, then my parents asked if I wanted a ride home but I said no. Hope didn't leave she stay with me through the whole night, Adams parents did come around midnight, but left to get some rest.

In the morning Hope took me to my car ,and followed me home to make sure I didn't crash. When I got home I put down my car keys, and ran up to my room. I slept the whole day, around 6:00 I woke up and went back to the hospital, this was going to be my plan for the rest of my summer.
