Casey
Adam immediately rushed to my side. Out if the corner if my eye I saw Bryce. "What? Bryce what are you doing here?" Adam asked.
"That's a long story, but for now we need to make sure her story doesn't end." Bryce said.
Out of the other corner of my eye I saw Mason standing up off the ground, out of breath. "Move." I said through clenched jaws.
"What." Adam and Bryce asked me.
"Move." I said again, This time in a clear voice.
They both moved away from me. I slowly stood up with my head held high. "Well looks who up." Mason said.
I put my hand behind my back, and made a hand sign of a gun. Adam put the gun in my hand. I held the gun close behind me. I was only going to use it if things took a bad turn. I looked down in Masons hand to find a knife. There was blood on it. I'm guessing that's my blood on there. "You know Casey, you're tougher then you look. I never thought you'd run away, or tackle me, or spit in my face...twice. And I'd never think that ever try to kill someone."
"Well it s not a good idea to judge people."
"Yeah I clearly underestimated you. Ok so you know you're going to die, and I know I'm going to die, so why do you keep fighting."
"Because I know I'm actually know I'm not going to die that easily."
I pointed the gun at him. He put his hands. "Come on Casey you and I both know that you're not going to shoot it."
"Haven't you learned not to judge people." I said.
I pointed the gun at his leg, and shot him. He fell to the ground and made a grunt sound.
"See you wont kill me. You know in a you and I are kind of the same."
"How were nothing alike."
"Yeah which means you're not going to shoot me."
"God again with this. It's not a good idea to judge people."
I picked up the gun again, but this time I pointed it at his chest. After a quick breath, I closed my eyes and pulled the trigger. BANG! I heard. I opened my eyes to see Mason on the ground...not breathing. I put down the gun. A breath of relief left me. I felt dizzy, and fell to my side. Adam caught me. "Adam" I said.
"Yeah." he said. I could see the tears in his eyes.
"I love you." I said in a quiet voice.
A short laugh left his mouth. "I love you too."
He kissed me on the forehead. Then everything went dark.
