"Mummy, mummy! Look at that girl she's wearing a dress!"
"Oh dear!, it's way to cold outside to wear dresses."
Seriously can't people just stop staring at me like seriously I don't look that bad even though I'm freezing to death!
I never knew England was going to be so cold this time of a year. I guess living in a small town in California gets you used to the scorching hot weather. Well, I know what you might be thinking what is a small town girl who lived in California doing in England, well I can gladly explain myself. I never intended to move to England, actually I was super happy living my lonely life with my father, Tom in California, and my only best friend Brooklyn. Well, my dad got a new job in England as an Engineer I was actually super happy and proud that he got a job again, he hasn't worked a lot after my mom died, which just left me, Alise to do all the work. Although, I never complained my mom always used to tell me that I had to work hard in order to get through everything which in my opinion is totally true. But, let's get back to the real issue that I'm having right now.
"Mummy,
mummy look now she's running!"
Okay, now this kid was getting on my last nerves.
"I know sweetheart now stop staring at her."
Finally her mom actually has some pity for me!
I stopped running once I came to the familiar luxurious British house it should even be a house it was like a mansion, even though my dad stopped working in California he was still loaded, because of my grandfather being one of the greatest engineers in America, my dad got his inspiration to be an engineer from my him, and my dad is pretty much the second best.
I went in thinking that my dad would be there so we could play board games or something, and I found absolutely nothing. Which just left me there looking like a loner all over again. That was when I knew this was going to be a boring night.
