"Alise wake up I know you don't want to go, but it's your first day you have to either way!"
"Ugh! Fine!"
One of my worst memories about going to school is waking up, honestly I would sleep my life away if I wanted too. Also I was never looking forward to this day since I moved. See, I'm not the best at doing the school thing, I guess I'm too awkward to talk to anyone. Although, the only good part about school is that actually understand and do good in all my classes, and even sports, ohh how I miss playing soccer. You see I played soccer a long time ago when I wasn't shy, which was middle school, and I actually was the best one on my team, but all good things come to an end right?
So it took me about 45 mins to get a shower, get dressed, and put on my makeup
Until I was finally in the car with my dad.
"Hey Als so you excited for today?" Asked my dad.
"Dad, even though I'm sulking, frowing, and on the urge of screaming, I couldn't be more excited!" I replied with sarcasm.
"You, 16 year olds and your sarcasm."
"Ohhh nooo, I just turn out to be the star kid who loves school."
"Hey cheer up kid at least you're good at it."
"Tell you what, why don't I pick you up and take you to the mall after school and you can buy yourself nice things."
"Tell you what, dad thanks and I'll be looking forward to buying those new converse."
It took me a while to realize that we got to this new school, and then I gasped, it was huge! And so fancy!
Suddenly I felt sick to my stomach.
"Dad you never told me this school was the size of an university!"
"Well you're just going to have to deal with it, see ya!"
"I hate you. But goodbye anyways."
Ugh! Life is not fair how was I supposed to get through this whole school, it was the size of Texas! I started walking until I came to the front doors then I saw a bunch of people staring at me as I walked by, and I was so close to throwing up. I didn't notice I had company when this girl stood right next to me.
"Isn't it so big!" Said the girl, with a British accent.
"Yeah, I guess it is." I responded.
"Oh sorry for not introducing myself, you must be new here, I'm Charlotte, but everyone calls me Charlie."
I didn't respond for a while, because I was trying to find all my school information to give to the office.
"Sorry did you hear me, I'm Charlotte, what's your name?" Charlotte asked me.
"I heard you, and I'm Alise."
"Oh! Pretty name, can I call you Ali."
"No one has ever called me Ali."
"Oh, well I just started a new trend." She giggled.
It was actually pretty funny so I kind of laughed.
"Ok, well new girl let me show you around."
Then at that moment I actually felt like I wasn't lonely.
