~No one's pov~
Today, y/n was nervous yet excited at the same time, she was finally going to confess to her long-time crush, five hargreeves. Y/n and the hargreeves were great friends, ever since they were young, she was close friends with basically every single one of them.
She saw five waiting for her outside, she smiled at him and gave him a big hug "F-Five I have to tell you something" Five smiled at y/n and held both of her hands "What is it?"
"I-I know there's a lot of things going on your mind and I know that you're stressed because you want us all to go back to 2019 b-but-... Look, I like you, f-for a while now a-and I just couldn't find the right time to tell you s-so-" Before she could finish, five pulled her into a hug, resting his chin on her shoulder. Y/n didn't know what to do, she stood there frozen, confused if he was hugging her because he doesn't like her or he does.
"I like you too, y/n" He whispered, giving a smile as he held onto her tighter and tighter "I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner" Y/n whispered, hugging him back with a smile on her face, she felt all the weight came out of her shoulders.
"I'm sorry too.."
"Wha-"
Y/n was confused when five said sorry to her, she looked down at her stomach and saw blood coming out of her... And a knife that had been already stabbed in her stomach. Five was quietly crying as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and slowly inserted the knife more and more in her stomach "I'm so sorry y/n... But I have to do this for my family.." His teeth were shivering, and more droplets of water came out of his eyes when he heard y/n cry.
"I'm so sorry..." letting go, five took a step backward and watched as y/n fall to the ground, it wasn't long till all the blood came out of her body and had spread all over the ground, five took the knife out of her chest and carried her in bridal style
~Flashback~
Five adjusted his blazer and took a good look at himself in the mirror, he went down the stairs and opened the door, soon enough he saw the handler already waiting for him "What do you want?"
"oh number five, getting the briefcase is easy, all you have to do is..." She leaned closer at the boy, placing her lips close to his ear "Kill y/n..." Five's eyes widen, The handler stood still and smiled at five "What?!" He exclaimed.
"oh, it's easy! Just kill her, and bring her body to me, easy as pie"
He saw the handler standing in front of him, he gently placed y/n to the ground and stood straight up, looking at the handler "give me the briefcase." he sternly ordered, the handler smiled at him and gave him the briefcase that she was holding the whole time "Great job number five, now you can go back home to 2019" She said.
Five immediately took the briefcase and walked back home. He felt drained, another life was lost just so he and his family could be finally safe. Not just any life. It was y/n's.
