Dead Love

Veronica's POV~
*We've finally got here to the community that Arron has been leading us to. Rick isn't so comfortable about us spending the rest of our lives here but he knows that this is our only hope from being out there. The rest of the group thinks it will be a good chance to actually live and me and Carl think so to. Me and Carl have been dating for about a week. He found me in the woods sleeping in a tree. I'm glad we might finally get to have a good relationship.*
Carls POV~
"Hey dad I need to talk to you. It's about me and Veronica."
"Please don't tell me she's pregnant Carl."
"No no no!!!! We haven't "done it" yet but I want to have a good life with her for the rest of my life and I want to get closer to her so I wanted to ask you if me and her can have a room to our selves?"
"I don't know Carl I'm not so sure about this place. Let's see what goes on around this place and see if they are hiding anything so for now let's all just stick together."
"Dad we need to make this work. Out there is hell. I want a life with Veronica. I know it's just been a week with her but I know the greatness inside her. I know there will come a day where I will love her."
"Like I said let's get to know this place first and then I will let you know ok?"
"Ok"
Veronica's POV~
"So what did your dad say?"
"He said that we should just stay as a group for now since he's not sure about this place."
"Man that sucks!! I really wanted to get closer to you."
"Me to. But don't worry we will make it better."
"I hope so."
*We need to make this work. Mostly me and Carl. We need to start a life together. We unpacked our things and had a group meeting about everything that will be going on. After rick told us where we would be sleeping we went to our rooms and everyone just went to sleep. We were all tired and hadn't slept for days. Let's see what happens and what this place is about in the morning.*
Carl's POV~
"Babe wake up. My dad wants us to check this place out and then have a meeting outside of this place to hide anything we need just in case something goes wrong here. Dina also wanted to talk to us about something but I'm not sure what."
*Dina is boss of this new community*
"Ok. And I heard rick and Dina talking and they said that there are some kids our age that live just down the street. Maybe we can see what they are like. I haven't hung out with another person my age in years other than you."
"Yea sounds good. But first let's look around and then I wanna come back so you and me can do something.....alone."
