Hogwarts Ghoul snron

Ron Harry and Hermione try to listen in on the meeting using the twins' extendable ears. Sadly, Crookshanks yanks it off the string and starts to play with it. 

Harry sighs and leans against the wall. "Why can't they just let me in? I'm going to need to know this eventually." 

"I know right? This is ridiculous." Ron says and looks downstairs to see the meeting let out. Specifically looking for Severus. Before Harry showed up, Severus and his mother talked to him about Severus being his soulmate; it turns out he's a ghoul. He still hasn't figured out how to tell Harry or Hermione. 

Ron looks back at Harry. "Hey Harry? What would you say if it turns out I have a soulmate?"

"Well, that'd be great. Who is it?" 

"Um... well. You don't really like him." Ron mumbles looking down. They were both raised by muggles; they may not understand this. 

Harry frowns a little and glances at Hermione and the twins who decided to leave them alone. They already know. "Draco Malfoy?" Hermione asks. Making Harry a little jealous if it is since he has a crush on Draco himself.

"No. Professor Snape." 

"But. Hes older than you?" Hermione responds. 

"Interesting. Is he the creature or do you have something else hidden?" Harry asks.

"Hes a ghoul." Ron answers.

"So, an evil spirit that eats people." Hermione says bluntly.

Ron crosses his arms. "What's happened to Dumbledore trusts him so we should to?"

"Well now Hes basically a cannibalistic pedophile."

"The wizarding world is different. Stuff like this is fine, more so when soulmates are involved, and as long as the child is fifteen and not doing anything sexual, and parents are talked to." Ron explains plainly. 

"Ron is right. Wizard costumes are different, and he said soulmate, so this is obviously not Snape being some manipulative dick. And I'm sure Dumbledore is helping Snape with this whole ghoul thing."

Ron smiled a little bit happy Harry is on his side. Hermione huffs and walks away. "Thank you, Harry."

"Well, you supported me with my crush on Malfoy. Now it's my turn. I mean it'll take me a moment to get used to but. It'll be okay."

Ron looks downstairs to see Severus and his mom talking about something and tells Harry Hes going to talk to Severus. 

Severus smiles a little at Ron seeing him, also glad that means he can stop talking to Mrs. Weasley. Molly goes to start on dinner and Ron sighs. "Well. Harry took it well." 

"And miss granger?" 

"Called you a cannibal pedophile." Ron mumbles. 

Severus sighs. "Is she still your friend?" 

"I think so."

"Then that's all that matters right." 

Ron shrugs. "I'd like for her to like you." 

"I'm sorry." 

"So, what happened in the meeting?"

"You know I can't tell you." 

"What if I didn't tell Harry?" 

Severus rolls his eyes smiling a little. "I know you would brat."

Ron grins. "So, what was mum talking to you about?" 

"She was trying to convince me to stay for dinner. I gave up and said yes." Severus mumbles. 

Ron hugs him. "You'll be okay."

Severus flinches a little but gives Ron a small squeeze before softly pushing him away.

Ron takes Severus hand, and they go to his and Harrys room. Hermione can just deal with it. If she was a real friend shed understand. Harry looks at them and grins, "Hello professor. Can you help me with the homework you gave?"

"Um. sure." Severus says and awkwardly sits on Rons bed as Harry explains what he is having issues with. 

Harry frowns a little when Severus is done explaining. "Why is none of that in the book?"

Severus shrugs. "The book has always been wrong. Don't know why they have not fixed it."

"Thank you, professor." 

Severus nods and looks at Ron who sits next to him also is going through and fixing what he put down since he now knows the correct answers. 

"Sooo, I thought you were a pureblood how did you become a ghoul." Harry asks as he puts his stuff up and tosses Headwig a treat.

"I'd rather not talk about that." Severus says sharply. 

"Ok. sorry." Harry mumbles sitting across from Ron and Severus. 

Ron glances at Severus, he was wondering how he got to become a ghoul, though unlike Harry he knew Severus wasn't a pureblood, Snapes not a pureblood name. 

"Any ways I'm not a pureblood I'm a half blood, my father was a stupid muggle." Severus tells Harry. 

Harry nods a little. "Ok. Cool."

Hermione walks in and glares at Severus. "Dinner is ready." She tells them and leaves the room. 

The three goes down to the dining room and Severus stays close to Ron as far away from the two dogs as possible. Molly tries to ignore the fact that Severus is not eating since, well, he can't have human food and pushes away the mother instincts and instead focuses on making sure Harry eats enough because he is a twig, really do those muggles not feed him. 

"So, I've done research on ghouls." Hermione says in a matter-of-fact tone. 

"Ooo, what you find out about Snivillus then?" Sirius asks. 

"Don't call me that what are you five?" Severus responds. 

"Well, I'm pretty sure he committed suicide." Hermione tells them.
