Daphne is Bloom's older sister, and the daughter of King Oritel and Queen Marion. Before she was destroyed by the Ancestral Witches when they came after her kingdom of Domino, she was regarded as an extremely powerful fairy. Daphne, Bloom's older sister, is the Nymph of Sirenix. She derives her magical powers and spells from the sea and the five elements: Water, Fire, Earth, Air, and Quintessence. Until season five, Daphne is a disembodied spirit due to a curse the Ancestral Witches cast upon her.
What happened to her?
She is now a spirit living as a nymph bound to the bottom of Lake Roccaluce in Magix since she was killed 16 years before the beginning of the events of the show when the Ancestral Witches destroyed her kingdom.
Daphne is considered to be the on-and-off eighth member of the Winx Club, the only one actually related to another member. In the 4kids version, her role as Bloom's elder sister was changed to merely being her fairy godmother-like guardian. She is supporting character in the first, third and seventh seasons. Is Daphne dead or alive? Going by the original series (before Nickelodeon), Daphne is dead. She sacrificed herself to save Bloom and her kingdom. With Nickelodeon, she's alive.
What is her power?
Pyrokinesis: As a Domino native, Daphne has the ability to create and manipulate fire at will like her younger sister Bloom. She is able to create flame barriers, summon rapid fireballs, create explosions of varying intensities, and even a silhouette of a dragon to attack her enemies.

Now about Thoren and Daphne, who are husband and wife now.
Thoren is a recurring character of the Winx Club series. He makes his first appearence in the sixth season. He is Sky's cousin and a member of the Paladins. He is also the main love interest and later husband of Daphne. Prince Thoren is a Paladin who wields the Earthquake Hammer. He is also Sky's cousin and husband to Crown Princess Daphne of Domino by the Season 6 finale.
