Yn's POV
I woke up to empty sheets yet again. I did a small cat stretch and slowly got out of bed. I let out a sight and I got up having to shower alone yet again. I let the hot water run down my body and I let tears flow freely form my eyes. My girlfriend, Billie Dean-Howard, has been neglecting me for the Past week. We've barely talked, she comes home late and hides her phone from me all the time. I trust billie though, so I don't really think she's cheating but I can't really come to any other conclusion at this point. I don't even see her. When she comes home I'm asleep and she leaves before even wake up. I really want to talk to her about it. If only she'd be around me long enough for me to even start a conversation with her. After getting out the shower and realizing that I've been in there for the better part of an hour, I get out and start doing some light make-up.  Once I'm down with that I put on some clothes and head to work. I work at an office, I'm an assistant for a very powerful business woman, but here's the thing, idk who the fuck she is. She's just the name of the company, I've never seen her at work, not once in my 4 years working here. Anyways I get to work and I start doing what I need to do. About 2 hours into work I get called into a very important meeting. About 20 minutes into the meeting, billie calls. I decline the call since I'm in the middle of the meeting but she keeps calling me. After 2 more rings I excuse myself and make my way out of the meeting room answering the phone angrily

B~> billie
Y: billie I'm in the middle of a meeting, what could be so import-
*that's when I heard sniffling on the other side of the phone*
Y:billie baby what's wrong. My love I need you to answer me, what's happening are you ok?
B: can you come home
Y: of course, of course. I'm on my way ok i'll call you back in a few minutes. Lemma just tell my boss I'm leaving ok
B: ok, i love you
Y: I love you too my baby, i'll be right back.

I went back into the meeting room excusing myself and leaving quickly after gathering all of my things. I got into my car dialing billies number and pressing the green button. She answers with a sniffle.
Y: hi baby ill be home in a few minutes of, stay on the line with me yeah.
B: ok
Y: can you tell me what happened baby or do you not want to talk about it right now
B: my uh my cousin, Claire she uh got in an accident
Y: oh my love I'm so sorry
B: yeah they uh declared her dead at the hospital today 
Y: I'm so sorry for your loss baby I'm almost here ok just one more minute ok
B: ok
Y: did you have anything to eat yet
B: no not yet
Y: why don't you go into the kitchen and grab you self a brownie from the fridge and a glass of water ok. I'm in the garage so ill see you in a few seconds.bye
B: bye
I ran out the car leaving my things inside and I run into the house finding billie sitting on the counter with a brownie next her. Her eye were red and puffy. She was wearing a grey hoodie and the wet marks from her tears were extremely visible. I pulled her into a hug and she immediately broke down. I started rubbing her back telling her to let it all out. After a few minutes she pulled her self back up and wiped her tears away. I gave her a soft kiss on the forehead, then on the cheeks  then her eyes then her nose, then finally her lips .
Y: when was the accident my love
B: it happened on Sunday, she's been in and out of coma for the past week so I've just been at the hospital.
Y: why didn't you tell me baby, I would helped you take care of yourself, god Billie baby you've lost weight and your eyes have bags. Oh my baby you need a week of love na self care, ok. No excuses.
B: I have work I can't  miss it. I already missed a week for this
Y: I'll call them and tell them you need sometime for yourself
B: I love you
Y: I love you more, now lets get in the shower
